€336 each?? I am looking for 2, preferably golden circle but I think that's way out of my price range. Thought they were about €150 each?

They're that price because they're Early Entry as well as Golden Circle. With EE You get in around an hour before everyone else and are therefore pretty much guaranteed to get to the rail at the very front.

Let me know if you'd still be interested and we can talk.

Probably, hopefully the vaccine roll-out will speed things up a bit so that the US can start to plan concerts for early 2022.

I went to the show for Midnight Oil last night. It was an outdoor venue of approximately 10 000 people. It’s was a seating plan to make it ‘safe’ but really people were up dancing, drunk, and behaving like any other show pre-COVID. It was a great night and so good to see a big concert again with that electric atmosphere that a big crowd and a fantastic band can only provide!

Sooo jealous you got to go to an actual gig!! That seems a very long time away here. Missing live music so much.

I think those saying they won't go to another GNR show unless they add new music or mix up the setlist are nuts. I would kill to see any band right now and I'll be even keener by the time it's actually possible. Guns and all other bands are going to clean up financially when touring starts again, if only from pent up frustration of fans having no gigs to go to for so long.

Well, as you were the one to start it... Here I come again women. I've made a new video featuring Slash and Axl's friendship and you can check it in here:

Very nice, thanks for sharing. Nice idea to do a compilation of more recent clips.

You into the Slaxl too then??

Do you think Axl and Slash were more than friends back in the day?

I want to believe it, therefore yes.

Happy birthday, Axl. This year please know that I'd do dirty things for some new music from the CD era and even dirtier things for Axl Rose: The Autobiography.

My feelings exactly on an autobiography from Axl! I wish he'd use the pandemic downtime to write it. I'd be first in the queue!!

  5. I'm dropping in after ages to see who's here and to say hi. People I remember from ages ago are @MillionsOfSpiders  @Padme  @janrichmond  @alfierose @Blackstar...

There's not much going on in GNR-land is there?? (or anywhere else for that matter... I am SOOOO over this pandemic 😓)

The only "news" lately is the death of Stephanie Seymour's son - so tragic! The poor woman. To lose a child must be the worst kind of loss. 😭

I really miss going to gigs and concerts. I didn’t have much booked for this year before covid happened but I’m sure I would’ve gone to a few shows. Now it doesn’t even seem like next year will be normal either. Damn.

Going to gigs is the only thing I have that reminds me of myself before marriage and kids

Same here. It's my only way to totally let off steam. Now who knows when we'll be able to do it again, and even then, whether it'll be the same. One of the things I love about gigs is being part of a crowd, the crush (only up to a point of course)... will it ever be like that again? :scared:

The fans commenting "my baby...".

JFC the shit they say is so cringeworthy.

Right?! The ones that go "my husband..." - I really don't get those.

She knew him way back then before. Her baby workshop is years closed ,  lol. Slash did good in getting Mergan.See all reasons above.  They are so cute together and fit. Yes, he could have gotten a 20 something model every  year since divorce .....and look silly. Slash should, as Beyonces song goes ,Put A Ring On It.

Yeah they strike me as a very committed, settled couple.

Anyone know exactly how they got back together? As in, I assume they had no contact for ages after Slash dumped her... did they run into each other? Did one of them decide to call the other after all those years?? I'm super curious.

I started a thread in Jungle called 'The Story of the White G string...  I have come across video of Axl running around in a white g string while everybody else is running around dressed, does anybody know what was happening?

Excellent topic for a thread. What a beautiful sight

I don’t think there’s really much of a story to it, it was at the end of one of the RiR shows in 1991 and some how Axl’s shorts had been removed, he was running around in a thong when some guy managed to get on stage and ran up to him with his pants down. He grabbed Axl but only for a second before security got him and dragged him away and then Axl left the stage.

Axl in a g string is definitely a story  It looks to me like he had taken off his shorts as the show was finished but for some reason ended up back on stage.

It's around 4-5 minutes before the end of this video, if you haven't seen the whole scene (it doesn't show Axl diving into the crowd, only after he was back on stage):

Sorry to deviate for a minute...

Does anyone know where there might a high-res version of this pic, and other shots from the same photo session?

Dumbunnies groupies pregnant  by the keyboardiest hired hand, lol. Credit to Steven even, Izzy, Matt, all of them. GnR for all their wild ways in 1980s until mid 1990s, were never sloppy.

Going by Slash's, Duff's, Steven's and Matt's books, they were very sloppy. Had sex with loads of people. Never used protection. Duff and Slash tell how they all got STIs.

My take is: Going by numbers alone, there have got to have been pregnancies. My guess is that unlike Dizzy and Steven (who made a lot less money from GNR), Axl, Duff, Slash and Izzy had the money to hire good lawyers, and women were hushed up and paid off. I would imagine most would have had abortions.

What exactly "he made her have an abortion" means?

That's what the woman said in her book.

    17 hours ago, MillionsOfSpiders said:

I am only interested in the AfD five, I really don’t give a shit about any other members.

Me neither. I do read all the books, but only to glean extra info about the AFD five and that era.

And Dizzy impregnated three women during the UYI and then had to pay alimony to them (I guess this is some crucial information that everybody cared to know about )

Puts more context on Roxana Shirazi's story that he made her have an abortion - he didn't want to pay any more child support. What a guy :jerkoff:

Haha, yes, that song has been put through some shit - that Big Daddy version is just horrible, never ever want to hear that again.

SCOM despite everything is my all-time favourite song of any band, I can't listen to it casually because it makes me emotional. Detest all cover versions. Can't understand why Axl or any band member who was around at the time it was written would pimp it out as much as it has been. So so sad. :thumbsdown:

He has a new (stage)hat now :slash:

What a joker :slash::lol: Pity we can't see his eyes clearly, I love pics of Slash with no shades or hair in front of his face.

I'm always surprised to see how much jewellery he and Axl wear in 'normal' life, all those rings and bracelets would irritate the shit out of me.

Anyone else in mourning for all the cancelled / soon-to-be-cancelled shows?? I have tickets for Dublin and Munich  2020 is basically fucked :violin:

He looks so high in all those Donnington Pics. Once I saw it it's hard not to notice 😀

I've always been fascinated by how Axl looks in those Donington pics... is that what it is?? (I'm so innocent )

He looks so incredibly young, thin and fresh-faced. I adore those pics.

So glad they're back to touching on stage. It's awkward when they all avoid eachother.

Haven't they been touching every so often since NITL began? When were they avoiding each other? (genuine question)
