  1. Are there any pictures of that tattoo?! Fucking hell- imagine having that on you for the rest of your life!
  2. I honestly think this has to be nonsense. I've been to numerous GNR gigs and never once seen Axl take plasters off his hand and drop them in the pit! I feel these people may be absolutely nuts.
  3. I mean this sounds like bollocks (why on earth would security guards have used sticking plasters to give away?!) but if it isn't, and combined with those creepy photos, Axl should shell out on a few restraining orders. Utterly sad behaviour from all involved.
  4. I think the money is more there than the US though for some reason.....
  5. Add him as a friend on Facebook and ask him what he's up to at the weekend.
  6. I bet they do Europe next summer. Stadiums and festivals.
  7. Great, thanks! I don't do all the social media bollocks so get out of the loop with stuff like that!
  8. Love it. Can't wait to walk into a record shop and pick this album up, take it home and blast it. Simple pleasures!
  9. I don't know about that. Last time he came to the UK he did 3 or 4 theatre sized venues in different cities.....this time nearly all Arenas, which apparently didn't sell too well. Theatres is his level these days I think. As for setlists.....well, if people go expecting GNR songs, that's on them really. He hasn't done more than one for a couple of tours, and if they cared enough they could easily find that out before they buy a ticket. It's a SMKC show, and, rightly, that's what the set is.
  10. Couldn't agree more on all those aspects. The live music world is very different (and worse in my view) for those of us able to remember how it was.
  11. Decent review there- I did have those fears with him doing Arenas. It doesn't feel like an Arena show to me. Interesting about the crowd- I saw GNR in Glasgow last year and it was one of the flattest, quietest, most bland crowds I've ever been in, which was bizarre given Scotland's reputation and the fact pit tickets were so expensive. Perhaps things are changing up in Scotland in regards to crowds?
  12. An absolutely incredible Always On The Run probably, although the first run of four or five songs was great too....
  13. Go for it! Which one you going to go to? The Myles/Axl stuff is a waste of time. He's a great performer, puts everything in, different style. I like both singers! .
  14. Went to Newcastle and it was ridiculously good. Small theatre venue, so much energy, just phenomenal. Honestly, just get a ticket if you can- I promise you won't regret it. It's good he's not playing GNR stuff in my view. He plays this stuff with so much energy there would be no point whatsoever in seeing him run through SCOM on autopilot. It's not GNR- and the show is all the better for that. Totally different vibe now yeah - fast, heavy rock show. Get a ticket for somewhere if you can!
  15. Went to see Slash this week and me and a friend were discussing it and how much fun it would be! Sadly I can't remember who it was either......
  16. What happened to that fist fight that was going to happen? @JimiRose, do you remember? I'm keen to see it. This summer hopefully?
  17. Yep. It is probably inevitable though that they're going to drop the set length at some point anyway I imagine.
  18. Oh, no chance are GNR opening for anyone. I could see a 'double headliner' thing happening though, even though GNR would probably go on last so it would feel more like them having a big support band.
  19. That's all fair enough, especially coming from someone that has seen them so many times over the years. I get a bit more now why people have a problem with them!
  20. Ok, the not playing live thing is a fair criticism! The behaviour stuff.....I mean GNR aren't exactly saints in terms of some of their past behaviour! Musically, yeah, GNR are way more my thing, but that's just a taste thing surely?
