Impossible to make it out on YouTube just what noticed myself in the pit at the show. Haven’t noticed that in any of the other 4 shows I’ve gone to since 2016.

One thing I noticed at the Saratoga show, they turn down the rest of the band at times so Axl can be heard at weak parts. I will take that over backing tracks all day.

Been going here my whole life. The lawn is rough overall. Other ampitheater have much better lawn views. Some people even sit up by the bathrooms and watch the shows on tv screens. It blows my mind. At least a hundred or so people do it.

I’m thankful he actually sang fully live for perhaps with no backing tracks on the chorus. I was worried that was going to start becoming common with these songs after the tracks he uses on absurd.

You’d think after how long they’ve taken to not change the arrangement at all, and paste 1 boring slash doodle over top, they could’ve at least had the decency to not fuck up that copy and paste. But then again this is gnr.

He’s not. Hearing these songs with a couple slash doodles pasted over top them is not impressive music.

What pisses me off is they left the first note of the guitar solo in there from the 90s demo of this song. It’s just pretty depressing how they’ve been back together for going on 8 years now and we just get a couple Chinese leftovers with slash pasted over top them. It’s negativity but it’s the truth.

There will never be another full studio album from GNR. Accept it. They’ve been reunited for 7 years. If they were gonna do it they would’ve done it in 2018. They do the bare minimum of keeping excitement to keep fans a little bit interested. They are 100% a touring nostalgia act now. Slash has released 2 albums since the reunion. Duff has released 1. Dizzy fuckin reed even put one out. It’s not the bands fault that an album won’t happen, it’s all Axl. Axl owns the band. The band didn’t reunite, Slash and Duff joined NuGNR essentially. Axl has all the say and the rights to the brand.

When will you guys ever learn. This is like the 5000th time this same scenario has happened. Is it really worth getting hyped up to hear reworkings of 20 year old songs. There won’t even be a full album, that’s the worst part of this all. Getting hype for the chance of peanuts. I’m glad this forum is still alive but Jesus Christ guys this is just sad to see from the outside perspective.

This is the Daytona 500, way more costly than a typical Indy sponsorship. Not sure about F1. This was hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars to do

It’s just odd, I’m so over hoping for anything new or exciting, but I know the nascar business, and it makes no sense for an entity to spend that much money to sponsor a race car like that when they have nothing to promote. Seems like it’s just gonna be a new merch line tho

I can’t believe there’s people on here who thought that searching a song name and GNR coming up in the results surely meant that an album is coming. The algorithm really got y’all.

There will never be another gnr album that’s newly created, it’s been six years folks. We don’t have one lick of evidence that Axl slash and duff have been in a studio together creating. The band didn’t reunite, slash just joined the current version of the band  that’s been around since 2001. All you hear in slash’s interviews time and time again that he hopes they’ll have a new album out soon. It’s pretty obvious that slash is open to creating new things and Axl isn’t, and we know who really calls the shots in this band.

People really still believe new music will be created after the tour…. That’s sad. The same things were hoped for at the end of the 2018 tour nearly a half decade ago. It’s not happening folks, I’m sorry to say but it’s time to move on and accept it, and see the band live whenever you can in these waning years.
