  1. I’m looking for some new documentaries to watch so I thought I’d create a thread on here, where you guys can share what you’re watching (I didn’t find a documentary-thread, if there’s one somewhere, mods please feel free to merge them). I usually watch stuff about history/war/politics, travel or animals, depending on the mood I’m in. I just finished watching this (older) documentary on blood diamonds and the conflicts revolving around diamonds in Africa (Sierra Leone in particular). Heartbreaking to watch at times, because the things that happened there were so horrific, but also really interesting: https://youtu.be/_bzMrxVwl74?si=Txp9egUWslM6F72S looking forward to your inspiration
  2. If I could go back in time this is probably among the top 3 shows I’d really wanna see
  3. Got myself some slash tickets and also some for the war on drugs. It’s shaping up to be a good concert summer: 04.04. Dave Matthew’s Band - Cologne 08.04. SMKC - Dusseldorf 17.05. AC/DC - Gelsenkirchen 17.07. War On Drugs - Horsens, DK 04.08. AC/DC - Hannover
  4. 1. TWAT 2. Madagascar 3. Prostitute 4. Chinese Democracy 5. Street of Dreams 6. IRS 7. Better 8. Perhaps 9. Catcher in the Rye 10. Sorry 11. ABSURD 12. If the World 13. Riad 14. This I Love 15. Hard Skool 16. The General 17. Shacklers Revenge 18. Scraped
  5. I’ve just discovered this band today and finished listening to their debut record (came out two weeks ago). I really haven’t heard something like this in a long time.. very interesting on a musical level without trying to hard so still easily accessible. Definitely feels a lot fresher than most of the other „newer“ rock bands who often just try to copy stuff that’s already there. Has anybody else heard about them? I recommend checking out the album Prelude To Ecstasy
  6. Got Gelsenkirchen Night 1 (GA) and Hannover night 2 (GC). Hoped for Munich but I’m happy nonetheless. But eventim absolutely fucked up this sale. So many tickets unavailable after been shown in the ticket shop. Had tickets in my cart multiple times and Eventim decided to throw them out again.. buying tickets is getting worse and worse
  7. As far as I know there’s no presale so there’s also no presale code. Just the general sale tomorrow at 11am German time. I’ll also try to score tickets for Munich night 2
  8. „I hear that if everything goes as expected, there will be a short North American run of gigs, followed by very few South American shows, one in NZ and the tour will finish in Down Under with very few concerts. Then it is "Adios, Amigos!" I guess.“ - the insider who gave the most info about the tour on the AC/DC forum
  9. I’ll do Gelsenkirchen (preferably opening night) and then I have to decide between Bratislava and Munich. I’ve already booked a hotel in Munich and I love the Olympiastadion but I also wanna visit Slovakia and seeing bands abroad is always a cool experience… will have to think about that
  10. https://www.acdc.com/tour/ Full dates
  11. Chris Slade suffered a stroke in 2020 and although he’s on tour with his timeline band, he’s not in shape to do a tour with AC/DC: Iirc Simon had a falling out with Malcolm after his departure and is a persona non grata since then, which is a shame because he would be a good stand in but so is Matt Laug
  12. Insider on the AC/DC forum claims that Matt Laug will be on drums and Chris Chaney (Janes Addiction, Alanis,…) on bass. Gonna be a weird lineup

  14. Very disappointing if true, although I can fully understand cliffs wish to spend more time with his family. If Cliff and Phil are out, that’s a whole new rhythm section. I’ll probably only do one show in that case I’d really rather they’d do a small tour (10-15 shows) with the Power Up/Power Trip line up than a whole tour with Angus/Brian + friends which is basically a continuation of the ROB tour shitshow
  15. If we don’t hear anything by the end of next week I’ll start to worry. At the moment I’m optimistic we’ll hear something soon. The lineup however will be another question
  16. Amsterdam on June 5th
  17. 1. Nijmegen 2017 2. Hannover 2017 3. Nijmegen 2018 4. Frankfurt 2023 5. Barcelona 2018 6. Gelsenkirchen 2018
