  1. Sounds awesome! Gives me some Dirty honey vibes, the chorus is definitely catchy!
  2. Zero I doubt that AC/DC will do a massive tour; I think 20-30 gigs around the world are realistic. But they will talk to Brian, about how many gigs he’ll be able to do. If he can’t do more than 10 gigs, they wont book more. Axl filled in in 2016 because the dates were already booked. Now they can plan and book the dates according to how many gigs they’re capable of. Also while Axl/DC was awesome in 2016, Axl would never be able to reach that level again with the current state of his voice and I’m sure that angus is aware of that.
  3. https://i.stuff.co.nz/entertainment/celebrities/301009996/acdc-rocker-phil-rudd-sells-up-for-love-of-his-life-who-is-dying-of-cancer A little insight on Phil’s situation and a possible explanation for his PT absence. Really sad story, I hope he’ll stay strong both physically and mentally through all this, so he’ll be back on stage in summer
  4. Rumored dates so far: announcement due on Monday
  5. Yeah western Germany would be better for me as well, but just to be safe I just booked a refundable room in Munich.
  6. Nope it’s exactly the other way around: hiring Fernando (someone who probably never worked a day in his life and is simply unqualified for the task) to manage a high profile and hugely successful band like GNR was a shit idea.
  7. https://www.ardmediathek.de/video/Y3JpZDovL2JyLmRlL3ZpZGVvLzEzYzFlNWEzLTkxM2UtNDZiMy05YmFjLWZkNWM3MjllODRmZA The mayor confirmed the AC/DC gig on June 12 on German TV! Time to book accommodation there!
  8. Fucking Jesus that’s awful! I hope she sues the living fuck out of him
  9. Honestly if this is true (and I really hope it is and that little pos gets what he deserves), I hope that Axl gets rid of him. If not, I hope that slash and duff (and the other 4) get the hell out of this band and that’ll be the end of GNR
  10. Cool thread! Not sure if I remember all of mine: 2012: Brit Floyd in Bochum 2015: AC/DC in Cologne and Gelsenkirchen, Vintage Trouble in Cologne, Steve Hackett in Cologne 2016: AC/DC in Hamburg and Dusseldorf, Queen + AL in Cologne, The Who in Oberhausen, David Gilmour in Wiesbaden, Vintage Trouble in Leverkusen 2017: John Mayer in Amsterdam, Coldplay in Munich, Guns N‘ Roses in Hannover and Nijmegen, The Rolling Stones in Hamburg and Amsterdam 2018: Queen + AL in Cologne, Guns N‘ Roses in Gelsenkirchen, Barcelona and Nijmegen, The Rolling Stones in Berlin, Noel Gallagher in Dusseldorf, Die Toten Hosen in Dusseldorf 2019: SMKC in Offenbach, P!NK in Cologne, James Morrison in Hamburg 2022: Genesis in Hannover and Cologne x2, The Rolling Stones in Paris and Gelsenkirchen 2023: Steve Hackett in Wuppertal, Roger Waters in Cologne, The War on Drugs in Paris, Guns N‘ Roses in Frankfurt, Harry Styles in Dusseldorf 2024: Dave Matthews Band in Cologne and hoping for AC/DC and others
  11. 20 dates in total, more than they did the last couple of years. Glendale (2nd show), New Orleans Jazz Fest on May 2, Chicago, Philadelphia..
  12. According to iorr.org the Stones will tour NA next year from April 24 to July 17. Tour start will be Houston, last date will be Levi Stadium. Announcement within the next 8 days
  13. I can’t see them playing 12 shows in Germany. They played 12 shows in Germany during the whole ROB tour, and there’s no way a future tour is gonna be this extensive. I’d be happy they play 12 shows in total around the world…
  14. Seems like things are in motion behind the scenes. The Munich town hall more or less „confirmed“ that the Olympiastadion is booked for 12th June - Ed Sheeran has to play another venue for that reason. Also there seem to be negotiations for Hippodrome de Longchamps in Paris for 15th August: https://www.sueddeutsche.de/muenchen/fussball-em-euro-2024-muenchen-ed-sheeran-konzert-acdc-1.6300601 https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid02R4QjFyhAZtRzEMRdD2QLVGt2SWAXxHGxacQDTShAozRMA34BSraC3nFpV1UG1ntrl&id=100044162693048&mibextid=WC7FNe Bring it on!
  15. If you’re not trolling etc care to share your source?
  16. I believe we’ll get the general, hopefully this year. But if they decide to remove the general from the vinyl, that’s it, I’m not gonna invest anything in this band anymore, neither money, nor time. I feel like most of us keep defending this band but they continue to disappoint and once something exciting is about to happen, they usually fuck it up. At some point enough is enough. And it seems like we’re getting closer to that point for me
  17. After a few listens I still think it’s a really strong album, especially for a band at this stage in their career. I’m more of a Keith fan, so i‘d loved some more iconic Keith open g intro riffs and songs, but you can hear that mick had a bigger impact on the songs. Favorites atm: Sweet Sounds, Driving Me too hard, Angry, Mess it up Less favorites: Tell me straight (hoped for an uptempo Keith song), Live by the sword. But there’s really no bad songs on the album Rolling Stone Blues is a great song for the album closer, just Keith and Mick playing some blues, full circle moment If that’s gonna be their last album they went out with a bang
  18. Well it’s 1am in Germany and I just listened to the first original stones album in 18 years. I’ll probably write a proper review after listening to it a couple more times, but it’s a really really good album, probably the best since Tattoo You at least
  19. The stones play an invite-only show in a club in NYC today. Rumours of Lady Gaga and bill wyman being there are going around.
