Only managed to find a short clip of Pretty Tied Up but I'm glad Axl sang the chorus in his natural register. Sounds terrific that way instead of swapping to the Mickey voice for the chorus. Anything Goes has never been a favourite of mine but that sounded pretty darn good. Bad Obsession sounded absolutely mint. Love it.

In many ways it sounds like a lot of what people have been wanting to happen has happened: - more deep cuts - more songs that fit Axl's lower register (Bad Obsession, Down on the Farm, Pretty Tied Up, etc...) - Backing vocals, and Melissa in particular, higher in the mix to help Axl out Great stuff. Incredible setlist and seems like a fantastic show. It's enough change to at least make things feel less stale, and I'm sure Perhaps will happen at some point.

I've seen (and met) both Bumblefoot and Gilby Clarke at solo gigs. Both great guys and among my favourite musician encounters. Slash and Myles several times. AXL/DC once. I regret missing Buckethead in 2018 when he was nearby. The gig totally slipped my mind.

The film section has a general thread like this so why not? You all know the drill! I'm currently playing through Tomb Raider on the Xbox One. It's truly a stunning game visually and the story and gameplay are both excellent. I mentioned in the thread for the game that it was a much needed reboot. All the voice acting and character models get a thumbs up as well. The new Lara looks great. The last game I finished was GTA V. I had pretty well exhausted single player and I can't get into online, mostly because I can't be bothered to increase my level and stats only to have my ass handed to me anyways. That, plus I'm just not a big online person. It got boring for me fast and I haven't even tried the heists yet. Until they release the much talked about story expansion for single player I probably won't play it again for a while.
