Not really. I get it that Myles has EXTREME control over his voice and can do wonders with something a little more minimalist like acoustics or pop rock but Rock N' Roll isnt only about soft and sweet flowers, we need the dirty and ugly too which Myles cant really deliver.
Please go listen to the "Pop rock song" by Alter bridge Isolation or ties that bind (Blackbird would be another one as well) and then tell me his voice isn't suited for hard rock

Fuck yeah! I have almost the entire album in my playlist. This is way better than Into The Wild Life
I think there is maybe 4 songs I didn’t add to mine.

Halestorm - Vicious, First time listening through the entire thing. Standout tracks: Black Vultures, Uncomfortable, Killing Ourselves to Live, White Dress, The Silence.

Personally, I've heard that these Brian photos are from Rock Or Bust sessions, and I hope it is true. Id much rather get some new AC/DC songs with Axl on Vocals. In the event he is in for the record I hope Brian steps his game up, was not impressed when I saw them live with him as singer
-
Listened to the interview, interested to see what the set looks like, im happy he is putting more focus on his solo songs. I just hope he puts in more snakepit and VR than he implied in the interview, personally id prefer a longer set of about 24-25 songs...
-
While id prefer new music with slash, new music from the CD era is also welcome
-
I have 0 doubts Axl/DC is happening; I just hope it makes GNR record and album next.

As a fan of Myles voice, ill go provided the tickets arent stupid expensive and the concert is close enough
-
Couldnt Keep it to just 2 had to put in a 3rd, moved some songs around, added an acoustic set with alternating songs, only song ive added that i doubt would happen is Locomotive, although dead horse could be considered a stretch.

I just got back from a Halestorm show. They dropped their new record yesterday and played 9 out of the 12 songs on it. The show was at least 2 hours!
Havn't had a chance to pick up the album, how were the new songs?
-
Saw Jason Bonham, Whitesnake and Foreigner.
Great show, Whitesnake kicked major ass

Jesus Christ, I want this DVD now!
I want a tour of this... I guess the DVD will do for now
-
Pros:
- Got to see GNR since I wasn't born when they were together
- Hearing Deep cuts like Coma live
- TIL 2016 I found wonderful
- Seeing them a 2nd time in 2017
- Getting a long show both times cause who plays for more than 2 hours these days.
- Hearing the classics SCOM, OTGM, MM, NR, RQ, DC, ISE, WTTJ, Estranged patience, YCBM even if the vocals weren't the best this isnt the 90s anymore.
Cons:
- Missed Sorry and whole lotta rosie both times despite being played close to the dates
- Missed Maddy, Prostitute, slither and SOYL since they were added after.
- They didnt come close enough for round 3
-
Yea I know they have that weird policy, although of that list of songs I only would like 3-4 of them to come back.
Yea 2M2M and Wickerman I'd be totally fine seeing dropped. Would much rather Wasted Years and Powerslave although i doubt either would be added. -

What an incredible set list.
Agreed, wish Paschendale was brought back, but other than that every song in there is outright amazing and deserving of the setlist. I hope they don't change the set too much when they bring it to NA.
-
Downloaded the super deluxe from Itunes, been listening to just the appetite portion so far. Definately liking the differentiation on the songs, Sweet child, ISE, TAY, and RQ definitely sound amazing. My Michelle and Nightrain I quite enjoyed as well. Will give each more listens as well
-
Saw Robert Plant the other night, holy fucking shit is he still amazing, his screams during Babe I'm gonna leave you and Whole lotta love were great. Also hearing when the levee breaks was great as well.
-
Ok, so I've had more time to think since February and with the rerelease of Appetite here is what I propose for the setlist changes:
2017 setlist
- It's So Easy
- Mr. Brownstone
- Chinese Democracy
- Welcome to the Jungle
- Double Talkin' Jive
- Better
- Estranged
- Live and Let Die
- Rocket Queen
- You Could Be Mine
- New Rose/You Can't Put Your Arms… (Duff)
- This I Love
- There Was a Time/Prostitute
- Civil War
- Yesterdays
- Coma
- Slash Solo
- Speak Softly Love (Love Theme From The Godfather) (Slash)
- Sweet Child O' Mine
- Wichita Lineman
- Used to Love Her
- My Michelle
- Wish You Were Here (instrumental)

- Black Hole Sun
- Knockin' on Heaven's Door

- Sorry/Catcher in the Rye
- Don't Cry
- Madagascar
- Patience
- The Seeker
- Paradise City
Proposed Changes:
- Shuffle the Set to reduce the number of ballads at the end of the main set; And move some positions within the Set
- Add an Acoustic Set
- Drop number of CD songs to 5 Max
- Drops Some Covers
- Add In Older songs.
- It's so Easy
- Mr. Brownstone
- Chinese Democracy
- Welcome to the Jungle
- Better
- You Could be Mine
- Estranged
- Live and Let Die
- Shadow of Your Love
- Rocket Queen
- Slither

- Civil War
- Nightrain
Encore
- Madagasgar
- Don't Cry
- Whole Lotta Rosie/Riff Raff
- Locomotive
- Out Ta Get Me
- Paradise City[Mother Intro]
This Keeps all the classics, adds in alternating of songs we want to hear but aren't the biggest hits, spreads the ballads, and has a fast hard hitting end of the encore
-
Well that song makes the decision, super deluxe it is.
-
Likely will be listening to the end of the few modern bands I enjoy, Alter Bridge and Halestorm had better last and we will see where Greta Van Fleet goes. Plus by then literally every major band will be in Hologram form so the tours will be endless.
-
I personally am super interested in seeing how Slash's set changes from previous tours, since at this point I feel like if he can get Myles and Todd to do a 24 song set it could be unreal, especially if they add in some stuff from GNR that they don't play often or at all.
My Ideal Set would be something along the lines of:
- New Song #1
- New Song #2
- You're a Lie
- Nightrain/You Could Be Mine
- The Dissident
- new Song #3
- Slither
- Starlight
- Civil War/Beggars and Hangers-On
- Shadow Of Your Love/Out Ta Get Me/Welcome to the Jungle [Todd]
- New Wong #4 [Todd]
- Locomotive [Myles and Todd]
- Back From Cali
- Halo
- The Unholy
- Rocket Queen
- New song #5
- Fall to Pieces
- Beggars and Hangers-On/Civil War [Acoustic]
- World on Fire
- Godfather Solo [Segue into Slither from WOF]
- Sweet Child O Mine
- Anastasia [Mainset Closer]
- Paradise City [Encore]
Maybe Toss, in a Myles Solo song here or there. Depending on the quality of the new album Id be totally fine with him dropping SCOM and PC.
