  1. Kiss - Alive! Deep Purple - Stormbringer Alter Bridge - Walk The Sky 2.0 ZZ Top - Eliminator
  2. I suspect he hasn't been given the go ahead to comment on the new SMKC album, he didn't talk about Living The Dream until Slash officially announced it either if I remember correctly.
  3. Add Kiss - Alive! to that list of recently acquired albums. Such a good live album.
  4. Over the past month I've been acquiring some records to either complete classic runs of bands I've been into for a while, or to add to the collection of more recently discovered bands that I've been getting into, albiet I'm very late to the game for some of these bands, either by avoidance or taking longer to get used to their singer's vocals Black Sabbath - Paranoid Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath Black Sabbath - Sabotage Elton John - Madman Across The Water Judas Priest - Sad Wings Of Destiny Judas Priest - Angel Of Retribution Rush - Signals
  5. I saw Plant in 2018 with my dad, he was absolutely amazing, super funny and performed a stellar set.
  6. As someone who likes to sit down and actively listen to whole albums I prefer albums around the 40-50 minute mark. That being said I love the idea of having more music from artists for the purpose of playlists. If I were to go extreme and make a 40 minute album it would be the following: World On Fire Shadow Life Wicked Stone Bent To Fly Beneath The Savage Sun Avalon The Dissident The Unholy Order would be different, and the rest of the album I do need to revisit sometime soon since my taste may have changed.
  7. Both Living The Dream and World On Fire are phenomenal albums, the latter is just a little too long, I will say that World On Fire has grown on me more lately but Living The Dream is still a stronger album IMO. Apocalyptic Love doesn't come close to either.
  8. Yesterday: Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath Scorpions - Savage Amusement Today: Black Sabbath - Sabotage Judas Priest - Sad Wings Of Destiny Elton John - Madman Across The Water The Ferryman - The Ferryman All on Vinyl except The Ferryman.
  9. Currently Listening to: Helloween - Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part I Recently Listened To: Halford - Resurrection Dokken - Under Lock And Key All for the first time, and all have been quite incredibly consistent and strong albums.
  10. Tales From Topographic Oceans - Yes The Revolution By Night - Blue Oyster Cult Live At Luna Park - Dream Theater
  11. Slippery Through Keep the Faith are phenomenal albums, Self Titled 7800 Degrees and These Days all have some phenomenal tracks but also have some less than amazing tracks. That being said the These Days Tour had some absolutely brilliant setlists and as such are the only shows which I seek out on youtube.
  12. Def Leppard - Hits Vegas Phenomenal setlist, great mix of their catalog into the set and really smartly organized with the Pyromania and High N Dry sections in the early set with a massive chunk of Hysteria right before the encore. Amazing stage show and good quality video.
  13. GNR - Seattle 2016 GNR - Vancouver 2017 SMKC - Vancouver 2019 Was supposed to see GNR in Seattle this year but we know how that went.
  14. Over the last week I've listened to: Assault Attack - Michael Schenker Sabotage - Black Sabbath 90125 - Yes Unholy Terror - W.A.S.P. Fragile - Yes
  15. Not sure if youtube counts. But they split the GNR selects up invididually and posted them on youtube by track.
  16. Continuing on my progressive rock theme: Relayer - Yes Signals - Rush Never heard either before but wow was Relayer a stellar album from start to finish.
  17. Currently: The Yes Album - Yes Up next: Grace Under Pressure - Rush
  18. New Myles and new SMKC in addition to the more than likely large amount of music from other bands whom have been writing during this pandemic will make for a great year of new music coming up.
  19. Updating the above (and made it a top 20): Scorpions - Lovedrive Scorpions - In Trance Dream Theater - Metropolis Part 2: Scenes From A Memory Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell Dream Theater - Images And Words Queensryche - Operation: Mindcrime Black Sabbath - Heaven And Hell Scorpions - Blackout Iron Maiden - A Matter Of Life And Death Dream Theater - Black Clouds And Silver Linings Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time Rainbow - Rising Iron Maiden - Powerslave Black Sabbath - Headless Cross Led Zeppelin - Houses Of
  20. GNR has posted the updated Europe dates, like NA some dates were cancelled: June 2 - Lisbon June 5 - Seville June 12 - Solvesborg June 18 + 19 - London June 22 - Dublin June 24 - Glasgow June 30 - Munich
  21. Paradise City, it is a good song but really it doesn't live up to the hype. I would much prefer Nightrain be the show closer and PC being the main set closer.
  22. So while I recognize cutting the setlist down in terms of overall songs might be better, I have to say I really loved the super long setlists from 2017, the pacing of the show was the issue with those here is my current thoughts on a setlist. It spreads out some of the lul from the back half which was my major issue. It makes the encore a roaring rock assault once you get through Estranged. *Assuming no new music* It's So Easy Mr. Brownstone Chinese Democracy Welcome To The Jungle You Could Be Mine (It has to be somewhere may aswell get it done early)
  23. Agreed, it was a treat to listen to it! Got it for 30 bucks which was way less than I ever expected to be paying for a copy of Lies
