  1. I agree with this. Seems the business model is to milk the cow dry before releasing anything. As long as people keep attending the shows they will keep dangling the carrot. They will release an album when they have to to keep touring going.
  2. I’ve noticed this before, but this video reminds me of how different Axl’s speaking voice is than when he was younger. It’s not just his singing voice that has changed. Doesn’t even sound like the same person when he is talking.

  5. It was Spring 1988, I was 10 years old and playing sandlot football with a bunch of neighborhood kids and one of the older kids came over with a boom box and said “check this out”. He popped in a cassette of AFD and the jungle scream started. I remember thinking holy shit! Was very different than anything else in the music industry at the time. Rest is history although I do remember being slightly disappointed when UYIs came out. Although still good, UYIs were a complete departure from AFD.
