  1. I thought the prevalent theory was that he wasn't playing it in honor of Shannon Hoon? I think it's pretty obvious that 14 Years is the Izzy song Axl never will (and hasn't) played without Izzy on stage
  2. This is supposed to be about Matt v. Steven so of course it immediately turns into a discussion about Frank
  3. People are crazy if they think GnR is hanging it up anytime soon. As others have suggested, Axl is going to milk this thing till the very end. He might be the first senior citizen to perform a song with the lyrics "pussy full of maggots"
  4. Ya'll wont give it a rest, huh? How many times do we have to have the same discussion about two band members barely anybody knows who they are having no effect on ticket sales
  5. It's not modern at all. It's fucking shit. Mammoth WVH .. That's modern and sounds amazing.
  6. Last 7 years? They've nee touring the entire discography since Day 1 brother lol
  7. You had plenty of time to get a copy of the leak. Youtube is the worst place to go for stuff like that .. I'm sure using google it would take a few minutes to find what youre looking for
  8. You think every Slash & Myles album, and every Izzy album, are better? No way dude.
  9. It's irrelevant to my point, that his UYI and TSI vocals are the same style and character.
  10. What are everybody's thoughts on Dizzy's solo album? I've never seen anybody discussing this album or any of the songs. It apparently was a 10 year process, and a lot of work went into it. I for one fell in love with it the day it was released, and still to this day love it. I think out of all of the albums GnR members have released, it's easily the best one.
  11. A new Axl interview would be so boring and lame. He will never go into detail about any of the topics we'd want him to. I think we'll all go to our graves never knowing the truth behind everything that went down in the mid-late 90s re:GnR and then everything that went down regarding ChiDem in the 2000s.
  12. TSI vocals were recorded along with UYI, and after the UYI tour, Axl did severe and irreversible damage to his vocal chords.
  13. Yeah, the demo, like Hardschool, is a lot better than the "official" version ... Like Hardschool, I will not be revisiting the "official" release of Perhaps probably ever again
  14. I live in a major radio area, with 3 separate rock stations, and I still have not heard this song. When Hardschool came out I only ever heard it one time, and it was between 1-2 am ....
  15. Axl doesn't feel like it's finally ready to be heard. It's just simply one of the very few songs left he has finished that can be released. Axl gave up on this stuff a long time ago as any creative and emotional statement. If you went this long without hearing it, you might as well just not listen at all, you're very close to hearing the actual song lol
  16. Why do we keep using "radio-friendliness" as a factor in any decision making theories? New GnR music doesn't get radio play.
  17. It's ditched because it doesn't open the show's anymore, like it opens the album ... C'mon dude
  18. I think it's incredibly arrogant to say what an artist thought was necessary for his album is "unnecessary"
  19. The Sean Beaven demo doesn't fit with the overall mood and feel of the finished tracks though.
