  1. I actually like the visual of the Magic 8. Also, this best not be fucking ruined, this was my favourite of the leaks.
  2. Yeah, I called it Zero magazine, it was funny because in 2006 I referred to it as an Italian magazine that was print only but they’d somehow had a Fortus interview. Everyone was clutching at any information, they took anything at face value. 2006. SEVENTEEN YEARS AGO. Baffling.
  3. I started that rumour as a joke on CD Forum with a few other titles and it spread to New GnR forum, and across the whole set of forums. I mixed it up with real titles. The Axl chats were great for debunking and stuff.
  4. Robin was and is a very spur of the moment guitarist. His flair and style of improvisation from his time with Nine Inch Nails live is quite evident of that, as well as things like Ghosts Of Mars.
  5. I think that’s clever work by the way they set up, given Clash At The Castle was giving away tickets in Cardiff, they’re known to do it too in the US, as well as only showing you the hard camera side which is set up for the razzle dazzle. I’m not favouriting one or the other, it’s all bad. The only selling out stadium artist nowadays are pretty much your Taylor Swifts and the like.
  6. When’s the last time GnR sold 72,000 tickets to Wembley Stadium is my question? Likely 1993 right?
  7. It’s on the BBC iPlayer now in all its full glory and a solid: 🌟⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 From me. He’s 61. He’s running around the stage like a nutter. They did the normal set, great, but those in the crowd wouldn’t have likely been to a gig of theirs in a while. This is the first British show with this set list. BBC cameras as usual do a fantastic job, sound engineers not so much. He enjoyed himself so much you can tell. There was an energy and it bounced. All weekend the sound has been an issue with the broadcasts, I watched Kelis (brilliant performer and lovely human being) and her sound was poor. I’ll watch a few more to see what’s what but it always happens with sound.
  8. That scream in There Was A Time was on point. Something seems better this tour in the energy. If Glastonbury is pro-shot BBC quality and he’s this good we could have a decent recording.
  9. Once again this forum turns into the Marillion forum because of all the Clutching At Straws going on…
  10. I would love to hear something reworked. Atlas Shrugged, Perhaps, just something new. We can dream.
  11. I wish they’d just have some energy to the show. It’s going through the motions all the time on shows. Mad.
  12. Listened to a bit of it. Better was clearly pulled from RAR 2006, as there was the moment he ran with the crowd noise not being sourced out. I’m on the fence about this, it’s too interesting not to be intrigued, but also has a wide scope for libel and liability like deep fakes.
  13. Discogs link for the Chinese Democracy promo. Seems to ballpark around £15-£50 or €18-€60 with conversion on sales. There are only two official pressings of Live ?!★@ Like A Suicide - both in 1986 of course. The “red tinged rear cover” is cheaper to purchase but only by a minimal amount - As Evidenced Here… Compared to the other version, which has a printed "blemish" on rear photo (above Axl's head) and "ejector" mark on spine with "A" stamp on centre labels - as shown here… As far as vinyl holy grails go, they’re barely scratching the surface for prized collectibles. Chinese Democracy has slowly crept up in price, and if you were smart to buy it for £5 odd in multiple quantities on vinyl, you’re sitting on an album that sells for £60 near mint opened and around £100 brand new.
