Perhaps - New Guns N' Roses Single - Discussion
metalavenger99 replied to downzy's topic in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS
Wow... 100% By far the best Perhaps so far -
To be fair, what if in 2022 someone from the GNR camp would've said this: "Ok you are getting The General, but only as a hidden track on a vinyl release" Everybody would've said: Bro... shut THE FUCK UP are you serious, i don't care, just release it officially however you want... It's gonna be a fucking shame if it's true that we won't be able to put together a TWAT, Estranged, Coma and The General playlist on Spotify, but it is what it is...

Regarding a live BluRay, what really intrigues me about the footage is the moment at 2:51 Is that a photo shoot? They are all in the same room and there's a lighting setup, could that be the cover for a live release? -

Do you see that happening? Some sort of Appetite 4 Democracy type release? I'd like that only if it included backstage footage If i had to bet i'd say that they are gonna use the rest of the footage for those cool show recaps they were doing and maybe a promo for the next tour on YT (not that it makes much sense) -

Exactly, i didn't wanted to say it, but i've noticed it since they got to America... Maybe being on tour fucks up his diet and he is going all out on having fun , well i guess that's totally fair for his age tbh That's exactly what i thought 100% -

Well i'm not trying to fat shame our guy but is it me or has he gained weight again? Well it is pretty noticeable to my eyes compared to the Perhaps vid or even to the earlier shows from June Maybe that's another reason he is not sounding as good as Abu Dhabi imo Edit: I just watched WTTJ from the previous page and it gave me 2019 vibes, i hope it's because he is been on the road for a long time now and not that he is letting himself go again -
Oh my god dude, no joking, regarding The General, from the moment i joined this forum i’ve sensed some kind of superiority complex coming from those who are skeptical about this whole General myth or saga or whatever it is, it’s stupid as hell Like always trying to look down on some ..implying that we are lunatics imagining things when hearing the cellphone clip🤣 I don’t know why is it that hard to hear the orchestra and the beat and then connect that with what was said in FB back then and the 2006 intro It IS the fucking General, either accept it now or when this comes out, i just hope this appears on streaming soon so we can throw this speculation to the f’n garbage bin… The same in 2019 with HardSchool, I didn’t had an account but i used to lurk on here and i remember a lot of people cried and cried that it wasn’t the same as Jackie Chan or Checkmate while all the sane people told them otherwise… what happened in the end?🤣 Now if i’m wrong then i am an idiot but if it is indeed an instrumental or a garbage “B side“ we all lose…

RQ sounding decent (for today's standards + what just happened this days) -
I don't think the options "new album or retirement/farewell" In my opinion they are still going to do another reunion tour, do the same formula, tour the whole world and when they come to the US release the 2 remaining CD2 songs as promotion And then they'll probably do the farewell tour but marketed and named as such. Not just another world tour + singles. Axl clearly doesn't care about the declining state of his voice because most people still have a blast and pay for this shows, mostly outside the US but anyway, he'll probably still do it as long as he is physically able to hit most of the notes using the falsetto I can see another 8 years or so of live GNR in the horizon

I don’t think they are taking a break with the purpose of writing new music, Slash and Duff know that the whole process would take 5+ years at least, 5+ years without cashing in the nostalgia money just for the sake of the art? No way. It’s just a normal break like the first half of 2019, Slash and Duff doing their solo shit and the band just taking a one year break to come back in June 2025 with another world tour this time adding South America and Australia again
