Surprisingly NZ has the capability for domestic production as we can repurpose our apparently robust infrastructure for vaccinating cattle. I don't know the details that's just what I heard a while back. Point being if we can do it Canada can.

Pfizer rollout is happening here in July. I'm still paranoid about the whole thing and will wait and see.

I'm not surprised your cattle need vaccinating after what you lot get up to with 'em!

Would love to watch it but have no clue how to.

Movie theatres are shut down here and I don't think it's coming to CraveTV (our version of HBO Max).

Canadians have/had the same issue with the latest Godzilla v Kong flick.  No distribution or easy way to watch it.

First we get shut out of the vaccines.  Now no Mortal Kombat.

    This sucks.

    Torrent client? ;)

Wow, you are sticking with the gym thing. Impressive,

And I soooo envy being out having a beer. I have to do with being drunk inside on wine.

How old is junior now? If I were to guess, I'd say 5?

Close. She’s 6 though thankfully I don’t have to pay for another birthday until November. 😂

What has the fantastic people of mygnrforum planned for this weekend then? I am just going to drive kids around, drink wine, and watch a game or two. Hopefully no work.

I’m already doing it. In the pub! Woo hoo!!!!!!

Tomorrow I’m back at the gym and taking Jr. to dance class and Sunday she’s got stage school so I’m basically a taxi driver.

We might see the light at the end of the tunnel in our countries, but this thing is far from over. Here's the global daily new cases:

And look at the graph for India (!):

Problem as I see it is that we can probably expect some pretty nasty variants to come out of India and some of the other developing countries. If that gets around the vaccines then we're all fucked. :(

Those big 12 clubs wouldn't stand for a salary cup, look at Barcelona and Real Madrid who are a combined total of £800M in debt and they have signed Alaba on a huge 5 year deal and supposedly Mbappe on the way. Look at Man City, there is no way they are complying with current FFP regulations.

A salary cap would actually be doing them a favour but only if it applies to every club in every country. Money in football is only as ridiculous as it is through clubs paying ever higher salaries and transfer fees to outbid the competition. I'd go one step further and have a transfer fee limit of some kind on top of a salary cap.

India's population is roughly three times that of the US with about a third of the land area. They're virtually stacked on top of each other, a perfect recipe for a contagion.

Gotta say that when all this shit kicked off I always expected India to be amongst the very worst hit given the extreme poverty in much of the country coupled with such a large and concentrated population. When they seemed to be doing very well in the early stages I was very surprised.

I hate to be that guy, but is it possible that this virus was introduced by extraterrestrials to weaken earth's population before an invasion?

Nah, we've got Americans for that.

Another great result for the famous glasgow rangers today.

    The tramps are in disarray,

    3 shit goalkeepers,

    3 useless fullbacks,

Only decent ch ( Ajer) wants to leave,

The lego man away in the summer,

Christie, Elyonoussi and Édouard want away also,

They will be left with shite like Ajeti and the (supposedly) racist junkie Thumbheid.

Oh and they have no manager.

Is Scottish football actually a thing anymore? You had two teams then one of them went bankrupt and you had one team for years and now you've got two teams again. Might as well just have a cup final once a year and get rid of the league all together.

So I'd have expected this thread to be lit up atm.

European Super League looks it's finally happening. Announcement soon.

    UEFA going nuclear atm.

Couldn't give a fuck if you paid me. Dreadful boring sport played by cunts!

Our stay-at-home lockdown has now been extended for at least another two weeks (it was originally intended to end May 6th).

We're getting walloped by the virus and incompetent leadership.

    Very depressing.

That sucks man. :( Thankfully things seem to be going in the right direction over here still but I'm not taking anything for granted just yet. Going for an induction at a new gym today which is going to be a blessed attempt at normality.

I once heard from a native English speaker that the words ''cunt'' and the n-word are really the only two words left in the English language that can make an impact and still makes people turn their heads. I don't know if this is true, I'm not a native English speaker obviously, but every time someone uses that word I think about that. Personally, I don't have a problem with it, I just thought I had invented a new drinking game, but apparently I have to open my window or go outside and connect with real life people.

Cunt is either offensive or not depending on the context and the country you're in. If you're in the UK/Australia/New Zealand then it's often used as a term of endearment almost. People will refer to each other in a friendly manner using it all the time. If you're in the US however it's considered much more offensive.
