Axl said on the Trunk show that he pays attention to rumors...which was a pretty obvious way of saying he still goes online. We know he used to visit HTGTH and probably here as well. I am sure he still does. I think he DID pay attention to what people were saying. He saw people telling him to ditch the dreads, rappa style, work on his voice, lose weight, etc. - and he did all that. And I think he intentionally posted the first three leaks online to test the waters before his comeback - the reason he mentioned Better and TWAT to Rolling Stone like a week before they leaked reinforces this.

Just my opinion, but yeah.

I have a solution.

Somebody should change all the clocks in Axl's hotel room and change his watch to show it's two or three hours later. This way, Axl would show up two hours after the start-time - according to his watch - but be right on time for fans.

Seriously though - Axl has his own internal clock and doesn't perform until he's ready to perform. He's always been this way - and likely always will be. So, when you buy a ticket to a GNR show, you shouldn't be shocked when he's late. It's all part of the "GNR experience."

If you intend to do that you might want to hide all the other clocks as to not throw him off!!

For all those who want to see AXL on time, go to Rock Am Ring. As you can see in the schedule (http://rockamring.de/schedule.html) GNR are the only band with no start time. They are introduced as "Late Night Special" (somwhere, not on the schedule.

For those who have problems getting a Plane after a concert. Once again what are you expecting. This is a rock concert. It's not like "They start at 10:00, so they will end at 12:00 and I get the plane at 1:00".

and that is why NOT going is a more appealing option...

I agree with you there like only if you have to work. If you have to work DON'T go because it's not worth losing your job.

I had to miss concerts because of school, one of them being a Motley Crue concert.

If it happens to be on a weekend (like the Tracii Guns concert was on a saturday) then I can go. Now since it's summer I have more opportunities of showing up at concerts

What sort of dumbass who travelled to see them would leave the same day of the show? I'm sorry but that's kind of stupid considering you have no idea when the show would actually be over.

I travel all the time and if I'm going to see a concert, I spend the night at the state and leave the next day.

I've never seen him onstage but I will say he's quite the sweetheart! I email him often

Lateness doesn't bother me especially if the opening act is really good.

When I was with Tracii we ended up showing up like An hour and a half late, the crowd wasn't even bothered by it. Sure they were shouting "Lets see LA Guns!" but they weren't pissy about it.
