I for one am really sad to see it go. Not because it was a place where we could freely express our opinion.... ohh wait... but actually it is. If this band was in the height of their UYI recording and tour we would have lots of things to talk about.
But we don't. We don't have any signs of hope, just conflicting BULLSHIT by various members of this thing that have no official say. Yeah they play well, they do their job, but they have NO SAY. Only Axl has a say and he seems he's not even doing anything anyway. Team Brazil is busy promoting free beach towels or some other genius plan. The actual members are waiting on calls that don't seem to be coming.
Axl can't even get his voice up to par or get in performance shape. How the hell can we expect him to follow up CD... CD was impossible enough..,., so much that Axl might be done releasing music.
But we need a place where we have our right to free speech and have the option of disagreeing with the band. And maybe sometimes we make fun of them because admit it... Axl Rose has become a Real Life Parody of Himself. And that's not our fault.
Like Axl Never Had Attitude.

We can all miss Guns, Just in our own way. Seems like no matter what line up side people take, other people will have something to diss about it.
But I do agree that Axl seemed like he was having a lot of fun at times during the UYI tour.

Pittman took their job. Listen to the terrible synth vocals on Jungle and November Rain.

Volcano.. Thanks for a good laugh.

New GN'R can't compare to:
Lol Slash's bar band.
But... It's a bnad.
Once RIR and Bridge broadcast, it was the beginning of the end after the awesome 2010 shows.

Best Ballsy thing Axl has done since Slash Left
-
I think The Cane makes him appear closer to 60, so does the alchy bloat.
-
I'm more interested in the Thomas Meadow Radio Show at this point

A couple drinks and watching GNR? According to a thread a few months back, you're a sad alcoholic
-
Coma put him in a Coma? Fuck that... Coma is awesome.

I don't think you understood the question either.
Ohh I understood it. I just didn't wanna leave it at Nightrain Rock Am Ring.

If I were Axl I'd go out with a Bang. Call a reunion in a stadium... Book it on PPV. Walk out to Slash riffing on Jungle. And scream into the Mic. Fuck You if you thought this was gonna happen! Haha

Ya axls voice is shot

For me the London 2012 Leak was enough. Give me a 2009 or 2010 DVD and I'll be happy.

Such A Great Vocal Performance. God I miss THIS Axl. .

I'd like to see Axl take better care of himself... Quit the drinking. I think this will help improve his voice for live shows. Then I'd like to see them actually change up the set list.
I'd say how about some music, but I believe that's too much to ask for. If it took Axl so long to put CD out with there being a huge demand... I don't think he will be working so hard to release something where the demand just isn't there besides from people like us.

If we were to put every member ever in GNR, and yes that includes employees, additional musicians, Beta and Fernando...
How many people would be on the banner. Over 20?

He told you this?
If you compare the way Ron played in 2006 to the way he plays now, it's quite apparent. He was given literally weeks to try and prepare a GNR catalogue. Do you think he gave any thought to a solo spot for example? No, it was clearly a matter of learn as much as possible and try to get through it.
Wasn't Ron given a laptop for about 15 minutes to hear and tab out all of Buckets parts on the new songs? This is why I believe the Twat solo improved in 2009-2012... He actually had time to prepare it properly.
Also many of the other solos he seemed to go back and learn properly. Nothing will ever beat Ron's 2006 Nightrain from Rock Am Ring. I feel he never matched the greatness of it after.
PS. Seeing GNR in 2002 was a lot of fun. Axl was such a showman... Running around, getting all into it. I haven't seen a better live performance since, even if his vox weren't great.

I don't understand this whole theater release of the Vegas Residency. Didn't they try and do something similar with the London 2012 that didn't work out at all? I believe this would be a difficult sell even with the Classic Line-Up so I don't see this going over well.
I can't believe how long it takes to get anything done with this band.

He still played a lot on 2002 and 2006. 2010 was more about running around a singing like a motherfocker. 2013 is more of sounding like a potato.
I actually laughed out loud.
Wasn't there a show in NYC in 2006 where Axl demanded someone give him a potato? My brother caught it and thought it was so rock star.
On a side note... I don't think he's lost anything he can't regain technically. But do agree that he's lost his passion.

I agree he's out of tune, but with that lovely rasp I can forgive.. Like a motherfucking boss!

No, getting better and stronger every year. I
There might be slight differences inAxl’s voice from 2010 to 2013, but it is like comparing the best champagne from one year to another;
it is still the best rock/pop voice there is at the moment.
Only a 'slight' difference from 2010-2013. I couldn't disagree with that statement more. One champagne to another? Are you serious.
Listen to the Crowd Roar at 4:20. OMFG!!!
Listen at 4:15. You want to say that this vocalist is the best pop / rock voice at the moment. LOL. Use You Illusions I guess. There is NO Comparison!

Compare that video to the one posted in the OP.
Jesus Christ Axl. Where is your passion? Where is your Attitude? You came back and gave us so many great performances. You killed it on stage. And now? You don't even seem like the same dude. I don't know what happened, but we miss you brotha.
Forget Expendables 3. What about Terminator 5?!

Arnolds working out again, he'll put Axl to shame.
On another hand,
Ghostbusters 3, Akroyd might make Axl look good.
