Tori Amos

Most people either love her or hate her. I love her and think she is one of the most brilliant artists of the 90s till today. If you are a casual fan I don't know whether I would recommend seeing her. Sometimes it's just her and her piano which to me is mesmerizing but sometimes others find boring. She always delivers a brilliant show though IMHO. She is also very Zeppelin inspired (she grew up wanting to marry Robert Plant and was the only one to do a duet with him on that first Zep tribute album Encomium) In her early days she used to play Whole Lotta Love and Thank You in concert live. Her rendition of BS Thunder Road is great as well. Many Slayer fans dog her because she did a haunting version of Reigning Blood on one of her albums but it had no guitars and just piano. Was way too mellow for their tastes---
