Metallica are dead dude. Haven't put out a good record since the Black album. The one tune, I Disapear was good, but that's only one song.

Never liked them. Think they're shit, and don't really care. All their stuff sounds the same, is really annoying to me (I'm not a metal fan to begin with), and I think even the self-titled "Black Album" only has one memorable song on it (Enter Sandman, which still sounds really dated). Bash away.

I was into Metallica when I was a teen but as I found more bands I grew tired of their sound

They have like 4 more songs I like, so I guess they're ok..

I don't care that their last few albums have not been that great,

they have made some great albums in the past and they are still a solid live band IMO.

And at least they are realeasing some new music.

Alot of you say you liked them up untill the Black album, but I'm the opposite.

They were a bit to heavy for me. But after the black album I started getting into the older stuff and now I really like it.

I also absolutly love their covers of Whiskey In The Jar and Turn The Page.

The first concert that i went was Metallica in 99 and until this day everytime i remember that show i got shivers, it was beyond amazing!!
