pain cake
It's going for a whole year. Last I heard Kanye has sold around 950,000 and fiddy's on like 620,000So things looking bad. And doesn't surprise me, that thing Kanye did with Daft Punk is a huge hit over here.

New Rose
Fiddy loses hands down.Kanye showed on 'Graduation' that he's one of the best producers out there now, if not the best. Fantastic tracks.Shame about his rapping, though.

UYIllusion
do these 2 hate each other or something?Nah. It was a joint venture to promote both their albums. 1.5 mill between them, I would say it worked pretty well.
Estranged Reality
Both of them should retire.Graduation is one of the best albums of the year. And it isn't rap. 50 Cent churns out shitty thug rap, while Kanye is experimenting with all sorts of retro styles. He went from Nina Simone to Ray Charles and now he's got all types of sounds on his new album.

SofaKingWhat
He won't retire, according to wiki anyway:In July 2007, Kanye West changed the release date of Graduation, his third studio album, from September 18, 2007, to the same release date as Curtis, September 11, 2007.[11] This forced the albums to go head-to-head and compete for higher sales against each other. 50 Cent claimed that if Graduation sold more records than Curtis, he would stop releasing solo albums.[12] However, he later dispelled his comments.[13] When asked again about his threat to retire, 50 Cent stated that, if he were to lose, he will release an album every time a major Def Jam Recordings artist releases an album.[14]Although Graduation topped the Canadian, UK, United World Chart, and US album charts, Curtis debuted at number one on the Irish and Swiss album charts, claiming the top spot on the Billboard European Top 100 Albums chart. Curtis also topped the Australian and New Zealand album charts (however, Graduation was not released in time to compete on the Australian chart).Graduation's first week sales of 957,000 and Curtis' first week sales of 691,000 meant that the competition resulted in only the second time ever (since Nielsen SoundScan began collecting data in 1991) that two albums sold more than 600,000 in a week in the United States. The first occurrence of such an event was when Guns N' Roses released Use Your Illusion II, which sold 770,000 copies, and Use Your Illusion I, which sold 685,000 copies. The first week sales totals of Graduation and Curtis have outsold the first week sales totals of Guns N' Roses' two albums.[15]

oogieboogieman420
Why cant they just both retire? Would it be so bad, to never hear from fifty or Kanye? Would you even really ever notice it, or would it be a fart in the wind? I don't think anybody would miss 'em

Can't wait until Rihannas 15 minutes are up. She might have to resort to pornos...
