i know it probably doesn't count, but "Live After Death" is my favorite. that whole Powerslave tour; the stage set, the song line-up and the performances were all just fantastic.

i honestly think a matter of life and death is their best album.

Really? Other than a few songs, I think its one of their worst.

it's most definitely not one of their worst.

I dont know, I just cant seem to get into it. There are some gems like "For the Greater Good of God," "Different World" and "These Colours Dont Run," but the rest of the album just seems to go on and on forever. It seems like they tried to make all of the songs on this one as long as possible, and I just don't have the patience for such a long album.

Bear in mind though that I have not heard that much from Maiden (I own Number of The Beast, AMOLAD, Fear of The Dark, and Dance of Death). I think Fear of The Dark is there best.

"for the greater good of god" is easily the best song on that album. i love it.

i love the way each song is like 9 minutes long, cos everytime i listen to the album its like an event in the calender for me, sounds gammy, but thats the way it is. :D
