Whats That Guitar?

Good choice frank - they're one of my all time favourite guitars (not to mention guitarists :wub:). Worth about $10 000 too. :)

10,000?!?!?! i just saw the pic of it in that other thread and i do play (very badly) and saw that big motherfucker...it looks the shit doesnt it? wonder what it sounds like :) (half of you guys probably know).

It depends, but also remember that HighV probably put the price in Australian Dollars. $10,000 AUS is about $8,700 US and for a vinatge, custom model, or an artist signature, that price is about right. If you go out and buy a brand new stock model, it will run you about $3,400.

As far as how they sound? Like heaven.

I was going off the $15 000 price tag in my local guitar store... :confused:

$15,000? That's like $13,000 US.

Holy shit. I could understand that price for an original 1955 White Falcon, but that's a brand new one.

I'm wondering if there's a high import tax on those things. Something isn't right about that. I looked at some of the other Gretsch models they have, and I noticed that the G5120 (after converting the currency) goes for about twice as much as it does here.
