New Rose
Anyone a fan?I recently got their album Mezzanine. How fucking great is this, I already like Portishead but this is really cool. Having the hangover of a lifetime now and MA just calms my nerves perfectly.
Lithium
Love 'em! Only trip hop band I really like, actually. Have you heard Blue Lines?
New Rose
Nope. Isn't it different tho than the later albums? I heard that it's more lighter than Mezzanine for example.
ADPT
Blue Lines is great. Generally considered to be their finest hour. Lots of soul and blues and reggae influences. Mezzanine is much heavier. I prefer it depending on my mood. I'm waiting for their new album, rumour is it'll have some hip-hop influence like their track with Mos Def ('I Against I') or go soul again like their last single 'Live With Me'. Guest Yanni_16
Awesome. I own Collected, which is a collection of their greatest hits. Shara Nelson's vocals are amazing. And Lithium, I think they're a bit too diverse of a band to be solely categorized as trip-hop. They incorporate plenty of different styles into their music. Meaning that it can include a lot of styles.
