Syk
I have recently become very interested in Kurts life and death. He has had a huge influence on me and miss him very much. Anyone else have the same feelings or some Kurt stories you wanna share?

Justagroupie
Musically, he did influence me; I started listening to Nirvana and they sort of introduced me to the whole Grunge genre. Kurt hasn't personally influenced me though. Actually I don't think that's fair of me to say, I haven't really "gotten into" the whole Kurt Cobain craze, maybe if I knew about the man himself I'd have an answer- but I know more about Nirvana than I do about the lead singer. Is0tope
Well, his music has helped me to deal with certain emotions, and is one of the factors that wanted to make me do my own music, which is very different from his though.. But other than that, I don't know.. I really like the guy and I love his music. I wish he was still around. appetite4illusions
Yea. He influenced me never to listen to grunge. As big as Nirvana was in the grunge movement, they're actually my least favorites. Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and STP were all superior to my ears. MrShankly
Kurt influenced me to play guitar. Nirvana was the first rock type band I ever got into. Before that it was all Now! That's What I Call Music CDs and watching Top of the Pops Personality-wise.. I'm not sure but probably in some way.
