december pain
A few weeks ago, my brother bought me "Nevermind" for my birthday. The same way that this album helped launch the grunge movement in the 90's, it is now doing to me. I am hooked on Nevermind, and really starting to dig Nirvana as a whole.Anyways, I was just wondering where I should go from here? What grunge albums should I look into? What should I stay clear of?I would love to hear some suggestions of cool grunge albums from:Pearl JamNirvanaStone Temple Pilotsand anyone else...I have heard a little of Alice In Chains and it was kind of "meh" to me. But yeah, grunge. What do you recommend?

FunkyMonk
I don't see why people love Pearl Jam so much...Vedder is very very average. Luckily whoever their guitar players are they rock , so that makes them listenable.
Spoon87
Every Pearl Jam album, really, best grunge band back in the days, and far more than an average grunge band now."Temple of the dog" and Mad Seasons "Above" are also two really cool group-efforts of Grunge musicians.Alice in Chains is the most heavy grunge group imo, but also cool, especially their "Unplugged" album. SylvesterStallone
I never could get into PJ much either, maybe it was Vedder's vocals. Ten is a classic but aside from that I didn't really venture into their other albums. I was always an AIC/Soundgarden kinda guy... B) NevermindTenDirtSuperunknownIn UteroThose are must-buys. Temple of the Dog is also awesome.
