Even with Hybrid Theory, I learnt 6 of the songs in my first half an hour guitar lesson because all they are are one note per bar songs with heavy distortion, so to the 13 year old mind whch has no clue about music, your like fuck yeah man this is some awesome guitar, yet it is rudimentary as fuck.rather rudimentary than progI find that these bands get their message across very well and the riffs support the idea,rather than go to "shudders" guitar wanking.And the 13 year old argument is only used by 15 year old music snobs,who seem to think that suddenly their music sense is perfect after starting to listen to old rock and naturally start bitching about mainstream bands.music snobs = death of music Edited December 22, 2007 by krissirge Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
