Raw Power Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I've been here for quite a while now, and I've still not seen a thread dedicated to this excellent artist. Lately he has grown on me, and I've been listening to his records non stop for he last couple of weeks. I just can't believe how great some of his records are. Since his debut in 1969 he has giving albums which has gone in as highlights in the music history, and he still does. Chrome Dreams II which he released last yearwas probably the musical highlight for me in 2007. What a great record! It contains the most beautiful songs you'veever heard like Beautiful Blackbird and Shining Light. And the 18 minutes long Ordinary People which gives yougoosebumps through the full 18 minutes and 13 seconds. Quote

Lithium Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Oh, so my username instantly tells you that I'm only a fan of alternative rock? Talk about prejudice. Quote

Lithium Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 You made it seem that way when pointing out that it was weird to see an alternative rock fan on a forum made for a typical mainstream act. Quote
