Vincent Vega
We would've had an album which consisted of:1) Cold Turkey (rejected by McCartney;released as a Lennon song)2) All Things Must Pass (worked on during the Let it Be sessions; released in '70 as a solo George Harrison song because of the Beatles breakup)3) Imagine (a Lennon song)4) Give Peace a Chance (Lennon)5) What is Life? (A George Harrison song)6) Maybe I'm Amazed (rejected by Lennon but released by McCartney)7) Jealous Guy (Worked on for the Beatles; released by Lennon)8) Junk (later released by McCartney)9) Hear Me Lord (later released by George Harrison)10) Teddy Boy (later released by McCartney)11) Stand by Me (later released by Lennon)12) Gimme Some Truth (later released by Lennon)All of these songs were written and most of them were recorded by the Beatles between 1968 and 1970; if not for the turmoil of the Beatles during this time, they probably would've been released on an album, possibly sometime in 1971 or 1972; The Beatles contract was until 1976.Just a little something for fellow Beatles fans on the board. Spuffy78
It's just really sad that we won't ever see the greatest band ever reunite. But we've got the amazing material that they've done with The Beatles and solo to remember them by. In my opinion, it would've been best if they had broken up either in 1976 (right as the big era of Rock was fading and Punk and Disco were starting to get big) or in 1992, as it would've been interesting to see what albums they would've made in the 70s, 80s and early 90s. mike bibby
great sense of showmenship. end at the top and leave the people wanting more.My exact sentiments. If the Beatles kept going I doubt they would be near as revered as they are today. Can you imagine the Beatles's career being as immortalized as it is if they made records in the 80's which probably would involve synthisizers and drums machines.
