Raw Power
Any other fans of J Mascis and his beyond awesome band? Beyond must be one of the greatest things they've released since they started. I mean not even You're Living All Over Me, Where Have You Been and Green Mind can compete with this album. It's not many bands that sounds that great after a reunion. I really hope I get to see the live in the nearest future.

It is the band Lou Barlow, a member of Dino, started after he was kicked out of the band in the 90's.

What album would be the best to start with?I think "You're Living All Over Me" is their easiest album to digest. As a poster pointed out, Mascis's voice can be a little irritating (Neil Young-ish), but on this album that fact, doesn't stand-out as much as the amazing guitar.Which is a good thing, in my opinion. Estranged Reality
I gave them a serious chance, like downloaded 8 of their albums but just couldn't stand them. That guys voice was just not my cup of teaHe's a fucking great guitarist, though. His voice is an acquired taste. He's like a granddaddy of the indie scene along with Stephen Malkmus and Frank Black, and they all have unconventional vocals. Dinosaur Jr. actually reminds me a lot of The Stooges.
