WHITESNAKE's "20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best of Whitesnake" was certified gold on March 20, 2008 by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for shipments in excess of 500,000 copies in the United States.

Originally released in June 2000, "20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best of Whitesnake" revisits the group's biggest hits, including "Here I Go Again", "Still of the Night", "Is This Love", and "Fool for Your Loving", according to All Music Guide. Album tracks from their later releases, such as "Slip of the Tongue"'s "The Deeper the Love" and "Slide It In"'s "Love Ain't No Stranger" give a good overview of the band's '80s heyday.
