Randy Lahey
I view Morning Glory as the last truly great Rock N' Roll album. Nobody has put out anything since that even comes close. I'm really hoping that Chineses Democracy will be the next truly great album to come along but we'll just have to wait and see.

DCGNR
What do you guys think is great from the last 13 years?OK Computer is pretty amazingFor Oasis - I also think "Don't believe the truth" is one of their better ones
Midnight Rambler
I like whats the story, although i much prefer def maybe, i loved whats the story when it first came out. I never really listen to oasis anymore though. Ive always had this theory bout the title, anyone know the neil young song motion pictures? Well theres a line in that song that goes "Mornin glory is on the line" everytime i hear it im like what the fuck? What does that line mean? And then it clicked! Its just a thoery and i do know that noels a huge neail young fan. As far as the last great rock n roll album, my vote goes to Gold by Ryan Adams, although most of that album is chilled and has a slight country vibe to it. Also whikeytowns first two albums are rock n roll as fuck like the replacements meet country sorta.
Randy Lahey
I like "Is This It" too but I don't think it's in the same league as Morning Glory. I do remeber buying Is This It on September 11th, 2001 though. I have the original cover of the album with New York City Cops on it. I prefer Definitely Maybe to Morning Glory also but Morning Glory came out after Definitely Maybe, so that's why it's the last classic album. ffrankwhite
Definitely Maybe beats Morning Glory for me..
FunkyMonk
Morning Glory is leagues ahead of Definitely Maybe.
ffrankwhite
Morning Glory is leagues ahead of Definitely Maybe.i always thought so but...i dunno, its a hairs breadth thing for me, Definitely Maybe is a rawer band for me...more brash, they seem to have found their footing by Morning Glory time y'know, perfected the formula which is good but...to me thats neither here nor there really, always prefer when things have a little more edge, its just a personal preference thing i guess cuz Morning Glory is a great album, i know it better than Def Maybe actually, funnily enough
Raw Power
It's definitely one of the best albums of "our" time.
M_B
its a fucking great album, maybe one of the best commercially successful rock of recent times, but theres A LOT of lesser known amazing rock music. get into it.
Midnight Rambler
Morning Glory is leagues ahead of Definitely Maybe.I totally disagree. Definately maybe is just so raw, so immediate and oozes fukin atitude. Theres just this driving intensity and urgency to nearly all the songs (except digsys dinner) and when there isnt (columbia) they just fukin groove along. Theres an arrogance amd aggresivness and even a certain innocence to def maybe (married with children) that whats the story doesnt have. But fuck, oasis wheres such an amazing band at that time, the best band in the fukin world, even their b sides from this period pissed on what any other band was doing. Songs like fade away man, so fukin punk, they were such a huge influnce on me at that time. i remmber back when these two albums came out the beatles anthology was on tv at the time and it all sorta tied in with oasis and what was happnin in england at the time, such a great time for music, the roses, pulp, blur, supergrass, the verve. Randy Lahey
Morning Glory kicks the shit out of all those albums you guys are naming. Morning Glory is the sort of album that people will still be listening to, and discovering, in twenty years time. The albums you guys are mentioning will be all but forgotten for the most part. I will say that Urban Hymns is still really good, and The Fragile by NIN is a classic, though I don't really consider it a Rock N Roll album.
