There is no denying that it is catchy as hell.

I thought Sweden's competition this year was particulary lackluster. I didn't enjoy a single song in the semi-finals.

It's sang by Boaz Mauda, who is the recent "Israeli Idol" winner. He's a good singer, I like him. The song has a nice oriental vibe which suits him. But I still think they could've chose a better song for him.

Yeah, isn't it? They almost always sounds like that.

Another funny thing about the Swedish songs in the Eurovision is that the media in Sweden always rate Swedens song as one of the top 3 candidates to win the competition, and after it's over and Sweden has come under top 10 everyone in media are talking about how shitty it is that east europe cant be a part of this since they all just votes for their neighbourcountries (Like we don't... "8 points... Finland! 10 points... Denmark! 12 points... Norway!").

It's pathetic really.

Norwegian bookies always have ourselves among the favorites, even last year. We didn't even reach the final.

It hasn't been only Eastern-European countries which has won the last couple of years. Greece won a couple of years ago,

Finland did etc.

The best part is when Germany give Turkey 12 points, and Turkey give Germany 12 back.
