New song my band recorded

Recommended Posts

My feedback: Positive.

Pretty awesome, really loved the guitar and drums, vocals were a bit iffy sometimes, but others they flowed really well and it sounded cool; I would say that might have come down to the lyrics being a bit tricky though maybe?

The song in its self is okay if your going to play at a bar.

Not if you want a record contract or such , it lacks that memroble hook , that eventful chorus that poeple should remember and sing along too.

guitars are okay , not with the times , but ok. it sounds like a song ud hear somewhere ona STP album , not one theyd release as a single though.

look at slither , thats a nice structured hookin song.

Not to steal this thread BUT:

I admit I'm not "educated" in the music business, but that's not to say you are either. Aren't you like 14? Yeah, I'm sure you're well educated.

yeah I gave it a listen.. and I have to agree with the Stone Temple Pilots comment.. not in a bad way, it's full of youth and it's pretty cool, think the vocals should be stronger after the solo.. like the melody and I think it works alright without the crazy hooks, maybe not a single material but pretty cool as I said before B)

Actually no , part of my dream to become a succesful musician has not only been instruments and shredding , i go read success story's , read what makes you success , goto billboards check out the hits and study there accesability , thats it.

When you model ur skill into simplicity ina song ,you move to step 1.

My motivation is not to get a record deal its about having fun playing music with your mates, it shouldn't be worrying about a hit that may never come, and thanks revolver.
