I was going through my old stubs because I wasn't sure of the date of a show I saw (which I needed for a bootleg).

It was fun looking at them.

It was kind of wild to realize I saw the now classic Back In Black tour for $8.50!

General admission

The highlight of the show (for me) was Angus coming out into the crowd on a roadie's shoulders...playing his solo!

They walked right in front of me...Angus was right there! B)

I might scan some more stubs...anyone else got some good ones?

Best concert I've ever seen...ever.

Just fucking phenominal...I was gobsmacked!

Also on the bill:

Atlanta Rhythm Section

Journey

April Wine

Some Girls tour...Keef fresh off junk...no backup singers,no horn section.

Just Ian Stewart on piano and Ian Mclagan on keyboards.

It was just the Stones, and their music...and it was sublime! B)

(jesus!!...30 years ago this summer...damn!!)

Some footage from the '78 tour..

All Down The Line

Star Fucker

Let It Rock

I remeber when I saw a old Van Halen ticket at a guitar world store and it was like $5.

The price of the concert it self.

The ticket wasn't for sale.

My first Van Halen stub..

Wow I was only 3 at the time !

 I was 10!! Very cool, Zint! You're so fortunate to have been able to see these bands in their day. I'm jealous too.

I don't think I have ever been so jealous of anyone in my life as I am of you right now!

I wish I could have seen the Stones back then. Unfortunately, I was only 2. :(

Just realized I went in chronological order backwards from 1980 without intending to do so.

Might as well continue in that direction...here's one from 1977.

This is my number 2 all time greatest gig ,just behind the Stones 1978.

It was fucking a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!!

Rick Derringer opened..

My first concert at the mighty Maple Leaf Gardens...I was seriously impressed!

Back when concert tickets were actually printed. I remember going to my local record store to get line tickets during the week, and then the tickets would be sold Saturday morning. I threw all mine away a few years ago during the move, probably should have hung onto them but too late now. Only one I hung onto was the GnR riot in 1991. I think it cost $27.50.
