keep trying. are you even listening to the chord changes? you're not playing with them at all, or even on tempo. the tone of the lead guitar is pretty cool, and at the end you played a cool little lick (not the bluesy stuff, before that), but the solo didn't work at all as a whole.

of course im listening, i wrote it. ur not listening, b/c THERE ARE NO CHORD CHANGES!!!!! its stays on Ab throughout the solo my friend.

I find the mixing muddled ,the solo would be much better with a whammy bar or a wah pedal rather than the effect u have ,

also id have rather had a tone closer to ur song with the MLK speech for the riff , it would sound alot better .

Dont listen to orangestone , that guy knows nothing of music prodcution or barely his isntrument , Smile , it took me 10 seconds to figure out the way to play the intro its much to simple and obvious , lacks creativity .

means its nothing innovative like under the bridge sweet child o mine etc

where you learn it and go , wow thats a diffrent way and it works , smile is really basic , something u work oit by ear , theres no challenge if u will , its basic , 5th grader stuff. not bashing or anything , afterall it was a 3 day job although he could have tried harder.

Btw try that effect matt bellamy uses in hysteria , would sound intresting

and songs have to be hard to play to be good? i can figure out any gnr song by ear does that make slash's riffs bad? it was meant to be a catchy pop song, not a buckethead song.

edit: and how is under the bridge innovative? the intro is finger picking a D chord then a F# chord with little scale shapes thrown in.
