Seeing how I've done some intense Youtube-searching lately for good live performances, I thought it'd be a good idea to make a thread where we can share our favourites, not necessarily Guns N' Roses-related

I'll start with three of my personal favourites:

Queen- Save Me (live 1981)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m89Ugf6fdSc...feature=related

Guns N' Roses- Sailing (live 2006)-

Magnum- Soldier Of The Line (live 2005)-

So share your best!

I think it was worldwideboss who posted this a few months ago. I have watched it hundreds of times since then.

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band - Quarter To Three, Hammersmith 1975

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Live at Slane Castle

this whole show is amazing, but as a big fan of "Don't Forget Me", i thought this was a stand out. especially when they break into the chorus on the second go-around, and kiedis has to up the vocals, with frusciante backing, they NAIL it - so tight.

White Stripes, Under Blackpool Lights

another amazing show all round...

Three words: The Last Waltz.

The definition of an outstanding live performance.

EDIT: The last part, when The Band and all the guest get together and sing "I Shall Be Released" is just orgasmic.

Some classic ones.

Pearl Jam - Alive

Umm?

Haha sorry, that was a wrong copy/paste ;) But you probably know which perfomance I really meant :)

Hell yeah, Pinkpop 92! That whole gig is a sheer kick in the ass! Great pick!

Good thread idea. Whoever posted that GNR version of Sailing, kudos. I had never heard it before. Good shit

Ok my token GNR one is Civil War with the Voodoo Chile intro. The band was on for this one:

Faith No More- Caffeine live at MTV and it was when they still had Jim Martin

Nirvana- Where Did You Sleep Last Night, unplugged. His voice at the end is killer

Buckethead- Soothsayer
