Marky
Do you buy singles, and appreciate the B-sides? I personally don't buy singles, but I'm guilty of downloading the b-sides of bands like Oasis, Kasabian, Stone Roses etc, and bands like those, plus The Beatles etc really put a lot of effort into them. Bands like GNR never really recorded B-sides, they just put other album tracks on the single.A lot of pop bands are doing that these days, or releasing below-par songs, shit covers or remixes of the song.I'm beginning to wonder if B-sides really matter anymore? Spoon87
I don't buy singles, it's just a waste of money, but some bands really have awesome B-Sides Collections released, such as "Lost Dogs" by Pearl Jam. Ok, there's really some filler or fun stuff I just can't get into, but there are songs which most of the bands today at least would wish to record themselves. Downinahole
depends i do buy b-side collections or download them, great b-side bands to check out, the music, suede, black rebel motorcycle club and jesus and mary chain. I think its just lazy to put a live track or a shite cover version as a b-side. I like my bands to make more of an effort.
