JONEZY
When GnR gets in, I'm afraid it will be a fiasco just like Van Halen. Assuming everyone is still alive, I figure Slash and Steven will definitely be there. Duff/Izzy, maybe. Axl won't be there, he's done with the 'old band'. Still got a few years to wait though, I don't think they are eligible for another 4 or 5 years.
SunnyDRE
Imagine how many people GN'R will have on stage when they get inducted.Who says they get in? Your are assuming to much. GNR really only has 1 proper album. There are countless other bands with 1 great record that aren't in the hall.I say GNR are borderline at best. GNR is not responsible for defining or initiating a significant change in music. They're just a band that made 1 great record. Like I said before, they're countless other bands/artist that have 1 great record that aren't in the hall.

Midnight Rambler
That was a great video. Does the hall of fame work like this? 25 years after your first release you're eligible for entry? So gnrs first release was 86 with live like a suicide that means....Edit: i think when/if gnr are inducted that itll be the original 5 plus matt and maybe gilby and maybe dizzy. They're also the last great rock band everIMO if a band like the Bee Gees can get into the "Rock and Roll" Hall of Fame....GN'R should get in without question2012 here we come! Lithium
GN'R also saved Hard Rock and put an end to the reign of hair bands and sleaze metal.Err.. no. hair metal was still extremely popular between 1987 and 1991/1992, when the grunge scene arrived in the mainstream. I'm afraid the Hall of Fame is becoming a joke. I just heard "Frankie goes to Hollywood" has a chance to get in this year. Meanwhile bands like Journey,Genesis,Boston,Styx,Deep Purple etc, don't even stand a chance. How depressing.
