ABBA, without a doubt.

There was a time when I wouldn't have been caught dead listening to them. But over the years, I took the time to sit down and listen to their Gold compilation album and saw them for the amazing artists they are.

I don't give a shit if they're metal or not. But I saw In Flames tonight and not only are they the best Swedish band ever. They're the best band in the world. Period.

From the ones listed: The Hives without a doubt, with ABBA right behind them.

But Hellacopters, Backyard Babies, Gyllne Tider and Refused are my favourites.

I took bands I thought had the most success outside of Scandinavia. Hellacopters and Backyard Babies, and Hardcore Superstars were bands I didn't think about at all.

As I said, I tried to get bands/artists who are known by people outside of Scandinavia. None of those I mentioned would be on top 20 if I made a list of Swedish bands. Nationalteatern would be the best.
