Vincent Vega
Would you say Aerosmith's albums from Permanent Vacation to Nine Lives are good? Personally, I feel that moreso than most other bands, they captured (in quite a few songs) the magic of their early career.
Guest knerken
I'm not the biggest Aerosmith-fan, but Get A Grip is their best album by miles IMO.

mr. orangestone
I'm not the biggest Aerosmith-fan, but Get A Grip is their best album by miles IMO.No way. Rocks or Toys in the Attic are their two best. Get Your Wings is close behind. Pump is their best "new" album

Shuffle
Permanent Vacation, Pump and Get A Grip is good, not close to their 70s stuff but still enjoyable. Nine Lives is crap - their worst album by far except Rock In A Hard Place.
GnRmaniac
The First 3 Aerosmith albums were great but after that they sold out to pop rock and turned tedious.

It's far from pop rock and is imo better than the debut. Draw The Line and Night In The Ruts are hardly pop rock either, they're just not as good as the first four. GnRmaniac
Yeah sorry, it was actually after there 5th album when they turned stale.
Shuffle
Yeah sorry, it was actually after there 5th album when they turned stale. Now that I can agree with. Although I do enjoy some of their later albums they weren't close to the first five.
GivenToFly
My favorite Aerosmith era. It's the music that got me into rock n' roll.
SunnyDRE
Personally, I think Get A Grip and Pump are Aerosmith's best records. Even better than the albums the released in the 70's.

Both are really uninspired.
