Estranged Reality
Link. It's pretty awesome. Doesn't really sound like his old stuff; sounds like he's trying to experiment a bit, and it's good. Can't wait for this album!
Lithium
Sounds pretty good! Eminem hasn't released a bad album yet, although Encore was a low point, so I'm really excited by this too.
bluesy
That's pretty horrible. As if appropriating privileged white boys acting like urban city black kids wasn't enough, he's actually trying to do the Jamaican accent thing now. Even from a purely musical perspective, that's just a lame loop and his voice has always irritated me.
Projected
Cool stuff. Thanks. I like it.The Jamaican accent is clearly intentional, stupid. Can't wait for an album.

Projected
Then what's the problem, shithead? He's obviously doing it for the kicks, not to present himself as a Jamaican native. Stop hating, you squirt of piss.

Even from a purely musical perspective, that's just a lame loop and his voice has always irritated me.Yeah, but it's clearly self-consciously goofy. He's not really trying to come across as Jamaican. It's not very different from the inflection he uses on some of his other songs - he's always had a tendency to have at least a couple tracks per album where he changes up his vocal style. It actually works really well IMO because this song has been stuck in my head all morning, and a large part of it is simply the way he raps - it's just like every time I hear "My Name Is" or "Cleanin' Out My Closet." He has an interesting sort of self-deprecatingly goofy, mock-singing rap style he shifts into occasionally - and in my opinion it works pretty well. He doesn't just use the same voice on every track, over and over again... and, like I said, most of his biggest and catchiest songs have always had kind of a humorous/mocking element to them. At first I wasn't sure with the Jamaican thing going on, but he pulled it off like he always does. I love the majority of his lyrics too. He's a rhyming/lyrical genius that not many can even come close to imo. Man, I'm looking forward to this new album too! OMG, between this, AC/DC & hopefully CD, life is GOOD. Ace Nova
I just read somewhere that this is just a freestyle and won't even be on the album. That's a bummer. This might be dumb, but what's a freestyle?A freestyle is basically him rapping to music in the background as he goes along...not formally pre-written. If it was a freestyle, it was a damn good one at that.

He doesn't just use the same voice on every track, over and over again... and, like I said, most of his biggest and catchiest songs have always had kind of a humorous/mocking element to them.I didn't mean that he was trying to pass himself off as a Jamaican. I just find the mockery a little tasteless, like many of his lame spoofs on pop stars and rock bands. To be honest, I get the basis of his "appeal," but it's that very understanding of what he does to attract attention that irks me. He's talented when it comes to his line of work, no question about it, but then again, playing poker and taming horses also takes a degree of skill and I don't give a fuck all about any of those things. Don't let me bring any of you down, though, that's just how I feel. Boo-hoo. You came out as an ass!Man up!You can't engage in any dialogue beyond the level of a preschooler and you're asking me to man up? Your intellectual balls haven't grown enough hair on them to play with the big boys yet, so please proceed to drink warm milk from your little smiley-faced cup and stop handing me these opportunities to impune your cocksmanship. Randy Lahey
Sweet, I can't wait for his new album.http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/inde...song-on-sirius/Yesterday on Eminem’s Sirius radio station Shade 45, the “retired” MC took to the satellite airwaves to reveal that his new album will be called Relapse. The announcement came during an on-air party for Slim Shady’s upcoming book The Way I Am. No official word or press release pertaining to Relapse has been given, but following the radio announcement Em did play a new song called “I Need a Relapse.” Eminem also added that Dr. Dre produced the majority of the album because Em wanted to concentrate on the lyrics. As for the release date, Interscope/Aftermath are supposedly planning a “three-headed monster” as 50 Cent put it, with Fiddy’s own Before I Self Destruct out December 9th, followed by Relapse possibly before the end of the year and then Dr. Dre’s long-rumored Detox shortly after that. If Relapse ends up being a reality, it’ll be Marshall Mathers’ first full album since 2004’s Encore.
