Death Star
And one wod to describe the concert: AMAZING!He can still perform real good. He did different on the songs he wrote and the show was more electric than acoustic. I was blown away by All Along The Watchtower real different take on the song than his original! And Blowin' in the Wind, that version was different too! His backup band was awesome! I don't have any photos or video from the concert as cameras were not allowed. But I still have the sngs stuck in my head and am still blowin' away by Bob Dylan. Best concert and most powerful concert I have been to so far! rock1 B) rock2 Edited November 6, 2008 by Death Star

axlslash
If you want Rolling Stones showmanship, go see the Rolling Stones. Bob is a different type of artist - a hypnotist collector, if you will. If you want to appreciate his genius rather than criticize him (as it seems you two do), his shows can still be mesmerizing.DS, glad you enjoyed it. I really hope he comes down to Philly some time soon.

I really hope he comes down to Philly some time soon.I wasn't criticising him, I rather meant that there was a time when Dylan was great (definitely 60s and 70s, don't know about the rest) and according to Death Star he still is great (I wouldn't know if he's still great since I haven't seen him live, which is something I'd love to do). So no criticising from me, I guess irony/sarcasm/whatever doesn't work across the internet...

Randy Lahey
I saw Bob Dylan a couple of years ago and it was awful. It would take you a minute to figure out what song he was playing because the arrangements were completely changed around and you couldn't understand what the fuck he was mumbling.
