Projected
Since I didn't hear CD yet, I chose Duffy. Everything else is complete shit, except for Metallica and ACDC which are mediocre.
Rifles N' Tulips
So far it's Black Ice. But based on the tracks I've heard it's going to be CD.
bdinan
Chinese Democracy was album of the year in 2002, when we first heard it. Day & Age by the Killers FTW.
BrandNewCadillac
That Lucky Old Sun by Brian Wilson is a contender for me. Duffy's Rockferry was excellent. Santogold's eponymous debut is also up there.I haven't heard the complete version of Chinese Democracy yet, so I can't really comment. Same with The Killers' Day & Age (which looks like it's going to be another great effort by them). Also, what about Muse's H.A.A.R.P. live CD (and DVD) from their shows in Wembley Stadium? I really enjoyed it.
Black Monk Time
I don't like any of those, although I'll probably like Chinese Democracy.Skeletal Lamping by of Montreal is easily my favourite of the year.

Franky Venom)I remember you writing about this a couple of months back... I really should check it out.The lead singer just died a few weeks ago.He was a hell of a front man.A real drag,I was hoping to catch one of the special shows where Marky was actually on the drums. The cd is very cool...ffrank gave it his seal of approval! An excellent contribution to cap off their career.I'm glad they got to see it through to fruition.

Graeme
I'd say In Flames- A Sense of Purpose or James- Hey Ma but they're not up there. I hope CD can cap them, but reserving judgement.

gnrrulz
I completely forgot about Jakob Dylan's- Seeing Things.Didn't get much attention but this album is fantastic. (very similar to tom petty's solo stuff and a little like bob dylan too).

Rifles N' Tulips
Also, what about Muse's H.A.A.R.P. live CD (and DVD) from their shows in Wembley Stadium? I really enjoyed it.+1Also forgot to mention Scars on Broadway self titled album should be on this list. It's not the best album of the year but deserves a spot in top 10 imo. Powerage5
Right now it's a toss up between Saints Of Los Angeles, Black Ice, and Along Came A Spider. And I'm sure Chinese Democracy will only complicate things further.
FunkyMonk
CD, but that's a sorry fucking list. Coldplay? are you serious?God forbid a song without a seven minute guitar solo and lyrics about banging sluts could be considered real music.Early Coldplay were pretty good, but their new album sucks balls to be perfectly honest. coolio GNR
The only one I have heard is Coldplay's new album and it is very good. So I voted for that one.
