Rifles N' Tulips
At the moment: Consolers of the Lonely by The Raconteurs.Forgot to mention this in my post too. Although I prefer Broken Boy Soldiers.

Why ad GNR on it?? it`s not even out yet..Probably because we've already heard almost entire album.
nameless_girl
Deciding on the first ten places would have been difficult. Deciding on the first place, however, merely requires a glance at my already worn-out copy of Saturnalia.
misch
WTF, Oracular Spectacular came out last year.In Germany it came out in 2008, didn't know that it was released in 2007 in the US.

Angelica
Gutter Twins - Saturnalia. Lofty expectations and a lengthy wait can pay off entirely.
AbominableHoman
People have had more than 20 years to figure out Motley Crue sucks, why would they change this year? It's probably Oasis or Metallica; both of which appeal equally to my separate tastes. F*ck Fear
Judging from the leaks alone, I have to say Chinese Democracy. But Metallica's Death Megnetic, and AC/DC's Black Ice are both solid albums as well.
CashCulture&Violence
I'd rather pull my teeth out with a spoon than listen to most of those.AC/DC - Black Ice will have to get my vote.
Zion
Also forgot to mention Scars on Broadway self titled album should be on this list. It's not the best album of the year but deserves a spot in top 10 imo.Good call. That was a great debut album. I also think Indestructible by Disturbed should have made the list. Lawzy
silence followed by a deafening roar- paul gilberthas no one heard this album?I'm a fan of Gilbert's playing but I don't have any of his solo stuff. Will probably check it out at some point.Judging on the leaks I'd say CD, otherwise..Don't really know, nothing has really struck me as a truely great album. I'd have to think about that one! Zeppelin
I know CD will be pretty close to album of the year for me, but right now it's a tie between Todd Rundgren's 'Arena' and Metallica's 'Death Magnetic'.

Shearaxl
Nothings really impressed me so much. ACDC's album was good though, Metallicas album dragged on a bit, expecially live. Acdc man!
