I appreciate the effort the Strokes put into looking like they aren't trying. The Ramones make The Strokes look like Dream Theatre, but I really like their style. Was't Albert Hammond a songwriting legend in his own right. And Julian's dad owns Elite modeling agency. Condemned to rock n roll.

A former and highly successful editor of Pitchfork Media was once asked, "What is your philosophy at Pitchfork?" And he said, "Our philosophy at Pitchfork is this.. music is interesting, and if you don't agree you can fuck off."

For someone critiquing the value of an individual's post, you have expressed nothing but banalities and, formally speaking, have yet to construct a single compelling sentence. "I like the Strokes." How provocative. You ride on a wave of clichés so worn, in fact, they actually approach a level of grotesquerie. Quite frankly, what makes your posts interesting? Where is your individual stamp? Estranged Reality brings an earnestness with every word, Dead Flower has his dry humor, and Wasted philosophically overanalyzes everything like he's Aristotle. You just suck; you're not even interesting enough to make me sick. I know it's the internet, but try and get yourself a personality..

Now that was a good post. One thing though, I don't recall ever saying I said anything of value. I say what I say and I don't give a shit what people think. If I get a reaction from someone, that's great but it's not what I'm here for. I don't necessarily crave getting reactions from people like you do. I'm not trying to be the next William Faulkner.
