Through the Past, Darkly

I know most of the time, compilations aren't really given any special attention but I have to say I think the 1969 big hits set by the Rolling Stones, "Through the Past Darkly", is one of the best. From the wild cover of the original lineup pressed up against glass, to the picture of the 5 original Stones laying forming a circle, to the poem dedicated to Brian Jones and finally down to the song selection, a lot of the Stones gloomier, more psychadelic songs, it's one of the best, spookiest and down right awesome compilations out there. Anyone agree?

Perhaps I'm biased because this album was one of the first I got...It was given to me on my 8th birthday by my parents, so I have a lot of good memories of it. It got me really into the Stones at a young age.
