liquidmetal Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Basically one of the best lead vocalists of this decade, whose band "The Cooper Temple Clause" split up in 2007 isnt doing much, infact I've heard he's a fuckin electrician now. VR should contact him. agno Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I listen to two of the songs and he is ok. But on the songs I heard there wasn't much power in the voice. Quote
Irishdawg90 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Yeah he has a nice voice, kinda sounds like the dude from Oasis. Don't know if it's strong enough to deliver VR songs though... Quote
Dead Flower Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I'm not sure it'd work, but this is definitely one of the better suggestions so far. Kick Up the Fire, and Let the Flames Break Loose is an ace album. Quote
velvetrose Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 he is alright but if you want that type of voice Brett Scallions, former fuel singer and now sings for the doors, is a better option in my opinion. Similar voice and much more powerful. Seems to be much more energetic live too. He could do the VR songs just fine plus be more of a hard rocker that Slash seems to want.here he is doing it's so easy with Camp freddy a few months agohttp://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=lNgzsWrhAoI&...feature=relatedsame doing Roadhouse Blueshttp://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=uw89OBdvtuQShimmerhttp://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hfnqBTuvsAM&...feature=related Quote
kevdo242 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Thanks guys for reminding me of how much I love the song Blind Pilots. Quote

Dead Flower Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I wouldn't mind Scallions. But I think if anything is gonna happen with VR it will be after Slash's solo album now. Mark Ronson seems to be on board as the producer, which is pretty cool. Quote

That was a really boring version of It's So Easy. I like a few of the Fuel songs they did when he was with them, but I haven't been all that impressed by his range. Quote
