Kohli Rocks Entertainment Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 (edited) I rarely even give a crap about Britney -- but I think the whole controversy behind her new hit single is hilarious. Parents are outraged after buying her latest album for their kids and then they hear their kids sing along and become horrified! But, in the way they did the song--I don't think Britney's to blame. The parents claim they bought the album for 'wholesome entertainment.' The song is:"If You Seek Amy"Controversy:the title sounds like F-*-C-K ME (the F*ck is spelled out!) I think it's hilarious...the outraged parents need to get over it, she's could probably sing the song on national tv and get away with it. It's their fault thinking Britney is wholesome entertainment..."So tell me if you've seen herCause I've been waiting here foreverOh baby babyIf You Seek Amy tonightOhOh baby babyWe'll do whatever you likeOh baby baby babyOh baby baby babyLalalalalalaLalalalalalaLove me hate meSo what you want about meBut all of the boys and all of the girls are begging to If You Seek AmyLove me hate meBut can't you seek what I seeAll of the boys and all of the girls are begging to If You Seek AmyLove me hate me so what you want about me (yeah)Love me hate meBut can't you see what I seeAll of the boys and all of the girls are begging to If You Seek Amy" Edited January 22, 2009 by Kohli Rocks Entertainment Quote

Black Sabbath Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 (edited) I had to read over it a few times before I got it. I was like, "Wait, what? bluesy Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Aside from the stupidity of it all, the wordplay is kind of impressive in a hilarious way. Quote

Black Sabbath Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 (edited) IF - YOU - SEEK - AMYF ---- U --- C -- K -- ME Edited January 23, 2009 by Black Sabbath Quote
DirtyDeeds Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 IF - YOU - SEEK - AMYF ---- U --- C -- K -- MEOh, lol. In high school, my girlfriend, some other friends, and I made a music video making fun of Britney and other similar singers. We made a song where the chorus was "Have sex with me! Have sex with me! Titty titty ass titty ass titty titty (every time "titty" or "ass" was said we'd flash to a close-up of it) Have sex with me, Have sex with me!" It was inspired by the fact that we figured sometime soon there would be a song by Britney with a message that was as direct as the way we said it, and the titty titty ass titty titty part was inspired by a stand up routine that Lewis Black did. Turn_It_Up Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 (edited) Memphis Slim had this idea about fifty years ago when he wrote "If You See Kay".Just when you thought Britney Spears was a creative genius on par with Led Zeppelin, all she's being doing is ripping off old bluesmen; oh wait.Yeah, April Wine did the same thing 26 years ago with "If You See Kay": Always dug that song in a cheesey kinda way. Kohli Rocks Entertainment Posted January 24, 2009 Author Posted January 24, 2009 the FCC has now threatened any radio station that either plays the song or says the song title on the air. The edited version coming out is, "If You See Amy" (without the K). That's so lame... Quote
