Stiff Competition
That's funny because Bruce had his whole thing down years before Axl even came onto the scene. Nice try though.
Becket
Where's the Axl moves? Seems to be typical Dickinson to me. I love that song btw.

Randy Lahey
Are you trying to say that you think Axl deserves a good egging? I hope Axl hires Sharon after he fires Azoff.

Have you ever really watched a Maiden concert start to finish, live or on video? Bruce is one of the most energetic frontmen of all time, and he's a better singer than Axl too.You are an idiot.Iron Maiden was one of Axl's influences!...and to top it off the video is from Castle Donnington.GNR were one of the opening bands on the '88 bill that Maiden headlined.Maiden did headline in '88, but this video is from Monsters Of Rock '92.I think Axl has mentioned he wasn't a fan of Bruce Dickenson he prefered the first album and Paul Di'Anno I think?Yep, Axl's said he likes Di'Anno, the first album in particular. As far is Killers and Paul's solo stuff and stuff with Battlezone, dunno.

JesusisSavior
i wouldn't go as far as saying he's a better singer than Axl... but i do see the similarities between the two
Powerage5
i wouldn't go as far as saying he's a better singer than Axl... but i do see the similarities between the twoBased on skill, I would say so. But skill isn't the only factor in being good. Axl can obviously sing with emotion better than Bruce, but Bruce has better range. I mean, do you think Axl could ever have hit the 2 octave jump in Aces High? No. But could Bruce ever sing a song like Estranged and make it as convincing as Axl? No. They are both incredibly talented singers in different respects.

Have you heard the live version from Live After Death? It sounds like he's choking when he tries to hit that note.

That's the main reason that tears people apart from Bucket/robin/ect and Slash

blake-a-mania
Bruce and Axl are my two favourite vocalists ever and i find it impossible to choose between the two of them they are both great in very different ways and their music is different in that respect, plus GnR have never been a heavy Metal band as such more hard rock where Iron Maiden is Metal.Axl has always had tracks that reflect his personal life although sometimes slightly criptic whereas Iron Maiden never have maybe a few of bruces solo works such as tears of the dragon but not much else so its hard tocompare that style of singing like powerage said however his point is very valid. As for moves on stage i dont think either iof them copied each other it just so happens that they are both very energetic frontmen who can jump around for a long time on stage and both have a large vocal range so similarities are going to be drwn up based on that. kannon21
Axl And Bruce are on a level of their own...... Bruce has aged much better though... just compare the RIRIII performance of both bands, Maiden kicks GN'R's ass.
