RJ88 Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 so if anyone watched the Grammys you would have seen Mark, Tom & Travis come out and announced that they'll be making new music again, and touring this summer. i loved these guys back in elementary and high school. i never had the chance to go see them in concert back then, so i'll try my best to go see them if they're in my area next tour.anymore blink fans here? SunnyDRE Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I'm kinda against it.I like +44 and AVA. Quote
Kaleigh Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I'm kinda against it.I like +44 and AVA.Same here. I love Blink and they were perfect in the past, but I was loving +44 and AVA, and knowing they're both pretty much dead bums me out. I'd be fine with just some reunion tours for Blink, but the recording is rubbing me the wrong way. Quote
aussie_axl Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 loved blink back in highschool, cool band, haven't seen them live, i think i will next time they tour. Quote

AbominableHoman Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I listened to Blink-182 when I rollerbladed, and questioned my sexuality. Quote
Tater Totts Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Man its weird to think when I got Enema of the State I was 9 years old and now I'm just about to turn 19, but fuck it whats wrong with reliving something you enjoyed... Quote
Guest deleted_19765 Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 As a young music snob I basically hated them, until their last album on which "Always" and "Miss You" really won me over. In retrospect they were fun and at least a little bit dangerous, we need them back. I might even buy the album. Quote
F*ck Fear Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I remember being 15. I didn't like their music then either. Quote

Snake Eyes Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I liked a couple of their songs years ago, I'll check it out. Quote
bluesy Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Total nostalgia band for me. My youth was littered with colourful pop-punk anthems and these guys were substantial players in providing me with fun tunes to chase girls to. Goddamn, those were good times! Love the 90's. Quote
Syk Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Blink updated their website. If you read the message, it says they are writing and recording in the studio and are planning a world tour.Kickass! Quote
Lithium Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 That's cool, I remember Enema of the State very well. Quote
Graeme Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Feeling This has got to be one of the finest summer anthems ever written, just hearing it brings back that freshly-cut grass smell and the heat of a long summer day.... In reality it's -4 and covered in snow outside.... Makes me wish it was June. Good to have them back. Quote
Gallagher Rose Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Good band..I don't know if I'm the only one, but I think they were not too happy yesterday during the Grammy's..specially Travis. They're probably back only for money. Quote
Syk Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Good band..I don't know if I'm the only one, but I think they were not too happy yesterday during the Grammy's..specially Travis. They're probably back only for money.I think they are excited about it but you have to remember Travis is probably still traumatized from his plane accident. Im sure hes got some problems. Quote
Randy Lahey Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 They were shit the first time around and they're still shit today. Quote
