Randy Lahey
It's cool to hear something like this with Ed's old voice. I actually thought it was a copycat at first since Ed hasn't sounded like this is about 14 years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLWjILcntUE

Malicious Matt
I heard that track, and I was floored. I don't know why they didn't release it like that in the first place. Same thing with alot of their out takes. Anyone heard Hard to Imagine off Lost Dogs? That track is epic. I'll definately be buying that new super deluxe edition of Ten. It comes with a shitload of extras. Old school Eddie Vedder was untouchable, in my book, and its great to hear something new from that time period. dalsh327
Vedder has a great voice that has sang with many a rock legend and held his own. In April he's doing a benefit for director David Lynch who's trying to get TM in public schools, at Radio City Music Hall. Paul McCartney's the headliner, should be good, and I'm hoping Eddie joins Paul for a Beatles song. They're expecting unannounced guests at this one. The last time Pearl Jam were in San Diego, it might have been the best show as far as setlists go. Pearl Jam is pretty established and respected at this stage in their career, almost 20 years old, they keep taking chances musicially and keep playing great shows, with very few band member changes. I liken them to The Band and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers more than "grunge". Plus there's a 3 degrees of separation from GNR to Pearl Jam. Spoon87
I preordered that Ten Super Deluxe Edition the minute it was presented to the public, so I'm getting that song with the whole package.

This reissue of Ten should be pretty cool. https://www.pearljam.com/news/pearl-jam-ann...debut-album-ten
chevelle
I miss the timbre of Eddie's old voice...there was so much power and bass to it, capable of so much anger, tenderness, release...he's still a damn good singer live, but he's definitely changed. And I have to agree with Dalsh, too. PJ has their share of grungy songs, but there's also a wealth of more intelligent, melodic, and touching moments in their catalog too. I'd rather hear a band change their sound every album or two rather than mine the same sonic vein over and over for their entire career.I also ordered the Super Deluxe...here's hoping it's signed, and if not, it's still a damn cool package. (Now I just gotta get a record player...)
