My Take on Better

Recommended Posts

A bit sloppy, the chord work and lead part isn't as "clean" as they could've been. Might just be the thick distortion, I suggest switching to the treble pickup or roll down the bass on your dist settings.

Otherwise, good job!

This is the first time I have recorded myself like this, so I had to educate myself on all kinds of software. In future videos, I hope to clean up the sound. Thanks for the feedback!

Try some panning and basic aftertouches and it will sound even better. Rhythm guitar panned 70% left and another rhythm track panned 70% right, and the lead part in the center is a good basic way to get a much better sound.

When you feel comfortable with it, you can start EQ'ing and more advanced techniques.
